@Chude_ND1 If you are in VI, get MTN Broadband . This is what most of us use. Star link is full so you will not be able to get on to it. Do the 1 year plan of MTN 800 GB for 225k It will last you for about 3 months.

MTN introduced MTN Fibre, and Airtel introduced Airtel ODU. One thing is clear: with the way MTN is penetrating every corner of the country with its fibre optics internet, Airtel is already late to the party. Tough times! Tough competition for Airtel! They said Airtel ODU works just like Starlink. I’ll purchase it in the coming days and see how it works. If it works perfectly well like Starlink, then I think they stand a chance to compete in the internet providing market again.

Enugu State Governor is arguably a step ahead of Alex Otti. You can rightly argue that Mbah did not inherit a state as severely dilapidated as what Alex Otti met in Abia state, it is undeniable that Otti has delivered a dramatic turnaround, positioning Abia with an unprecedented capacity to compete among Nigeria’s leading states. ALEX OTTI is actually the only governor in the history of Nigeria’s South-East to inherit a state in such profound decline and deliver a remarkable turnaround within just three years. Enugu, however, already possessed a foundational advantage. What distinguishes Mbah is his aggressive and strategic deployment of that leverage while at the same time expanding the Enugu's growth trajectory.
Dr. Ose Etiobhio@osemagnum

is there any governor in Nigeria doing up to half of what Alex Otti is doing?

A Life of Faith and Service: Farewell to Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai Yesterday, I joined Nigerians from all walks of life to pay our last respects to a great man of God, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia. It was a solemn yet deeply inspiring gathering - one that reflected the breadth of lives he touched and the enduring legacy he leaves behind. Rev. Dr Ukpai was not only a preacher of the Word but a living embodiment of it, marked by humility, compassion, and commitment to the service of God and humanity. His life was a testament to faith in action, as he laboured tirelessly to uplift souls, strengthen families, and guide communities along the path of righteousness. As we bid him farewell, we do so with gratitude to God for a life well spent and for the countless seeds of faith he sowed, which will continue to bear fruit for generations to come. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. -PO

The greatest need in Abia State being an industrial area was electricity and Governor Alex Otti delivered it within months of taking office. In Enugu, the most pressing need is water, yet after three years in power and heavy taxation on Ndi Enugu, Governor Peter Mbah is yet to deliver. Major markets in Enugu were demolished without notice, compensation, or alternative arrangements. Be honest: Can a government without a human face truly expect genuine support from the people?
Pamilerin Adegoke@Pamilerin

Peter Mbah is clearly delivering results in Enugu, arguably the most effective governor in the East right now, yet the same energy goes into hyping Alex Otti simply because of party affiliation. We see the bias, and it’s not hard to read between the lines. Meanwhile, credit should also go to Babajide Sanwo-Olu for driving major projects like the refinery and the coastal road in Lagos.

HCPs who aren’t Medical Doctors think we are fans of those Medical Doctors in top leadership positions like the Ministers, NMA heads and other Medical elders. They judge us by the actions of those few. No HCP is against medical elders like Medical Doctors. 1/5

Health workers converged at Unity Fountain in Abuja, marched to the National Assembly protesting today against the proposed Health Sector Regulatory Bill. These bills have passed first reading in the Nigerian Senate and are currently before the National Assembly. JOHESSU is demanding amendments or rejection of the bills. The core issue is a provision that would subject all medical and allied health professions (including nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, physiotherapists, and others) to regulation by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). JOHESU argues that: Each health profession already has its own established regulatory body to maintain professional standards and practice. The bill would undermine the autonomy of these bodies. It would effectively make non-physician health professionals "second-class" to medical doctors, imposing what they call "regulatory apartheid" or subordination.
