Ghana turned up to the World Cup to play for a draw. Criminal. But not as criminal as Anthony Gordon starting both games and doing absolutely fuck all

Used to think I was more right leaning but the sheer blatant racism coming from that side is hard to ignore and absolutely not something I want to be a part of nor a brush I wish to be tarred with

English fans embarrassing themselves all over Boston. The locals hate them. Sad that despite all their tournaments they still truly don’t understand what the World Cup is about. You ask anyone, they’re hated. Just the worst. England fans are the fart in the World Cup elevator.

Iran have been done dirty there. Staying consistent with my personal belief that offside should either be a full body or at least the feet. Having a body part offside is not offside, gives no advantage whatsoever

@HillyardB yes it is his fault. the offside rule is exactly for that. the attacker shouldnt get an advantage. It would be impossible to defend freekicks

@1ringofpower1 @Pianoman375 Because I grew up watching games where the offside rule wasn’t down to an eyelash. It made the game more fun and exciting and gave attackers more freedom. Everyone wonders why everything is so negative, backwards and sidewards now. It’s boring and killing the game. IMO

How does it do the attackers dirty. How would it be fair for the defense if part of the attackers body is behind them when usually the attackers momentum is forward with speed and defenders are backpedaling. So if they were allowed an extra step it only gives them more of an advantage when they are already at an advantage on those types of plays.

@Devsthetix They’ve done studies. In terms of muscle growth there’s no difference. However free weights will help build your stabaliser muscles/tendons better but in turn have higher injury risk.

Gym goers: who switched from machines to free weights: did you notice better muscle growth and strength, or did you just end up with more joint pain and injuries while losing convenience?

@vfl_svenson Whistle had been blown, not his fault he was more switched on than the defenders. But it’s not worth debating about, the rule is the rule and I understand it. I just don’t agree with it.

@HillyardB He moved erließ than everyone else gets a clear advantage. The defense was still focus to hold the offside line

@Pianoman375 Yes and In my opinion I believe that rule does attackers dirty. Why do you find it so difficult to understand people have opinions? I’m not saying I’m right, but that is my stance.

@HillyardB Being ‘done dirty’ implies it’s not fair. And I’m pointing out that regardless of your feelings, no one was done dirty, since everyone is held to the same standard of the rule.

@vfl_svenson Back turned to goal. Feet inline with the defender. I disagree personally but understand the rule

@Pianoman375 Twitter is a place to share personal beliefs and thoughts. That’s the point. Wrong app for you if you don’t like that. Furthermore Canada uses the offside guidelines suggested. Also, whether I’m cheering for or against a team. My opinion on the offside rule is consistent.

@HillyardB Luckily your personal belief doesn’t affect the written law of football that every team knows and follows. As special as you think you are, the teams you cheer for have to play by the same rules as everyone else. This is a play that happens all the time. No controversy. Easy call

A real long shot but can people retweet this please. Yesterday all my items were stolen in Eastbourne including my stats book which has 20 years worth of details in. Laptops, phones, clothes, shavers etc can all be replaced but this can’t and is useless to anyone else. It’s in a plastic folder you can see in the left hand side of this photo. Can anyone in that neck of the woods please keep an eye out. I’m gutted about this.
