It is beyond disappointing, seeing so many submissive on the platform carrying themselves with little to no sense of dignity. While I understand, humiliation and degradation is a huge kink for many of them, I can’t help but to feel that there is more to them than this. Sadly, because this is often the depiction of submission, it gets away from the honor and dignity that goes with true submission. I see too many Dominants content with limiting a submissive to a gooner, a simp, or as I see way too often, the infamous loser. The community is diminishing the value of submission, which consequently is encouraging a lesser value of submission that is given.
Listen closely, because there is a fundamental distinction between devaluing oneself and devotion that many in this lifestyle fail to grasp.
I see the landscape cluttered with those who think submissiveness is synonymous with a lack of self-respect. They lean into the humiliation and the degradation, and while those have their place as tools in the chamber, they are not the foundation of a high-level dynamic.
The truth is, the most impressive submissives aren't the ones who have lost themselves; they are the ones who have mastered themselves.
A truly successful submissive operates on a frequency of disciplined service. They aren't "less than"; they are an elite partner. When a submissive has a deep sense of self-respect, their submission becomes a far more valuable gift.
A submissive who is established and successful in their own life brings a level of intellect and poise to the dynamic that a "broken" person simply cannot. There is no honor in commanding someone who has no will. The true pride for a Dominant comes from the yielding of a strong, capable mind.
