I bought a fridge for R13,999 in December 2025. In less than 4 months, it stopped working. Now my food has rotted, and I’ve lost even more money trying to deal with this. I lost my original slip, but Game Stores in Mthatha (EC) assisted me by reprinting proof of purchase. Despite this, Hisense is refusing to help me, saying they will not accept anything except the original slip. So what now? I must just accept losing over R14,000, plus spoiled food and transport costs; all because of a piece of paper? This is unacceptable and unfair. The product is clearly faulty, and I have proof of purchase, yet I am being ignored. @HisenseSA @HisenseGlobal @Game_Stores @NCC_RSA @CGSO_SA National Consumer Commission Consumer Goods and Services Ombud Media, please take note: @carteblanchetv @eNCA @News24 Consumers cannot be treated like this. A reprinted slip is valid proof. Companies must take responsibility for faulty products. #ConsumerRightsSA #BadService #Hisense
