Home Run Inn
@HomeRunInn
Since the 1940s, Chicago’s original tavern-style thin crust pizza. All natural, made from scratch. Frozen or restaurant, there's no wrong way to HRI.

Happy #312Day to my Chicagoland peeps.
Makeshift 312 meal. Got a BOGO @HomeRunInn pizza from da Jewels and kicked it up a notch with some hot EVOO giardiniera from @JPGraziano and washing it down with an ice cold RC. @jewelosco @RCColaIntl

@1blackconscious We're sorry to hear that you had to hop around a couple of stores to find our pizza!! We highly recommend giving the stores a call prior to arriving, sometimes they have our product in the back freezers rather than placing them on the display shelves 😔

Yoo thanks for wasting my time w incorrect information @HomeRunInn they don’t have pizza here at this store and I came all the way from Manhattan to Brooklyn because the frozen pizza tracker said it was here

Congrats Dan, Nick and the entire team at
@HomeRunInn which is now ranked in the Top 10 list of most purchased bands of pizza in the United States.
Home Run Inn is a great family-owned company and member of the @IMA_Today. They hosted a stop & pizza party during our Makers on the Move statewide bus tour a few years ago.
This is perfect example of the American Dream! More than 100 years ago, Mary & Vincent Grittani opened a neighborhood tavern on 31st Street in Chicago. As the legend goes, the tavern’s name was changed to Home Run Inn in the 1940s after a home run ball was hit through their window.
In additional to numerous pizza parlors in the area, Home Run Inn opened manufacturing plants in 1986 & 1996 to make frozen pizzas that are available nationwide in retailers like Target, Meier, Walmart and HyVee (where I buy my favorite sausage & mushroom).
Data was collected by another IMA member @Instacart and shared with @foodandwine sharing the most popular pizza brands.
