According to the investigation, carried out by anonymous Honduran journalists, the leaks include 37 voice messages sent via WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram, which were verified through forensic analysis as stated in the report. The report also points to the role of Argentine President Javier Milei, who is supported by the United States, in strengthening cooperation with Israel, including plans to move the Argentine embassy to occupied Jerusalem.

Hondurasgate illustrates something I've been calling "fascist state in a box", where the collaboration between Israel/US/Venture capital/Argentina/El Salvador allows them to enter into a vulnerable country in Latin America or Africa and transform it into a technofascist project.

This is one of the most alarming stories flying under the radar right now: former Honduran president pardoned by the Trump administration is now tied to efforts to build a “news” outlet aimed at shaping and destabilizing politics across Latin America. I saw this playbook up close. In 2020, disinformation networks targeted my race and it worked. False narratives spread faster than facts, amplified by political operatives and powerful interests willing to manipulate voters for power and profit. Now that same model is going transnational. This isn’t just about one country or one election anymore. It’s about controlling information, influencing governments, and weakening democratic institutions across the Americas, including here in the United States. Freedom, democracy, and truth across Latin America are under threat from bad actors, propaganda machines, and multinational interests that see people and countries as pawns in a geopolitical game.
