Labaron Philon is a good player. I get the case he was the best player available from the Sixers perspective and he will carve out some sort of role It is a bit of a kick in the mouth the organization traded a score-first small guard at the deadline just to take a score-first small guard a few months later I don’t see the pathway to Maxey, Edgecombe, and Philon all sharing the floor together but they needed guard depth regardless

@HarryKenne40225 Both were always looked at as late first rounders at best, Peat was viewed as lottery talent for a lot of the season. Its not the same at all

@King_Cup83 Andrew Wiggins is better than both players I named right now, as is Powell who is re-signing, and Mitchell is a very good defender and passer. Your knowledge of the game clearly stems from name recognition bc Portis isnt even their best bench player hes just a name you know

@HoopsReference Andrew Wiggins is still gonna be an impactful player? He’s basically name recognition at this point. Davion Mitchel as the starting point guard is genuinely not good and you’re replying on Norman Powell at 34 resigning. Then who’s coming off the bench outside Bobby Portis.

It brings me no joy in saying this but I really feel like people are coping hard when they say “so Giannis went from one team with no help to another team with no help” Adebayo, Powell, Wiggins, and Mitchell round out a very strong lineup on both ends of the floor
