Pretty insightful from Rolapp on CNBC this morning. Asked about his biggest downside surprise since taking the job and starts talking about the media rights market. Notes the U.S. market is at $30B and the NFL takes up $12, a number that likely will increase substantially in its new deal. Seems to be inferring the tour will be potentially getting less than its current $7B

Yep. And the PayTV bundle, where most of sports viewing still comes from, continues its secular decline overall. Anyway, the apples to apples comps start 4Q26…In the meantime, expect the Men’s NCAA Tournament to be up at least +15-20%…

Every day I see posts touting "record viewership numbers" for this event or that event. All well and good but the proof will be when all events have reported their second round of ratings that include Nielsen's Big Data and Out of Home numbers. Are the increases real or were they there all the time?🤔
