I think criticism of the manager is really harsh. That was as good a performance away vs. City as you can expect. Bold, front-footed tactics. Scored from a high press. Created a lot. Fixed every issue from the Carabao. Not really sure what more you can expect. That was good.

It’s so weird the love that all opposition fans seem to have for Man City.
The media all love Man City. Even the Man Utd supporting pundits like Gary Neville and Andy Goldstein seem to root for Man City.

Ultimately, this result won’t be why Arsenal don’t win the league (if we don’t win it). This has been bubbling away for some time with Liverpool, Forest, United, Wolves + Bournemouth results far more costly.
Just have to keep going and win our games. It feels shit today though.

Pain. Thought we played well to be fair to Arteta and the team. Havertz did well for our equaliser but a better CF nets one in that second half. Eze very unlucky.

We can analyse the details later but I thought for the most part we were fine. I’m not angry at the team or manager (apart from the Eze sub) but City were marginally the better team and deserved the win. We fucked ourselves last week and didn’t do enough today to make up for it.

#Arsenal got here by conceding last minute goals to Sunderland, Villa and Wolves, and showing a complete lack of bottle against Bournemouth. Today should never have been the title crunch game it was. We have watched City drop points and still let them back in. Unacceptable.

I'm not excusing the finishing. We hit both posts, missed a clear 1v1 and put a free header over the bar from six yards. But considering how tragic we've been attacking-wise for months, we were brave today and created plenty.
Not that it matters at this moment.

I'm devastated. Arsenal played well and did more than enough to get something from that game. Luck wasn't with us at all and we paid the price for some shocking defending leading up to their winner. Gutted.
