I was on a mission to find a trail that headed south and connected two trails. I did find one that has potential, so mission accomplished. I got 1,382' of elevation gain for the week.

I drove down to the Rio Grande valley to run at lunchtime on a 60 degree day (normal 47) and saw beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande River looking north and south.

After 14 days, today was the first day that the Spirit said to me, "You should run." It was actually pretty good, but it will take a while to get back to where I was two weeks ago. I've been doing Dig In workouts first, and today was Phase 2 Day 2 Arms & Legs 2 with Shaun T.

I learned a big lesson about drug interactions, and except for being disabling for a few days, it was a good lesson. At 75, being a runner is not just about running. I have been strength training more often since last Wednesday, and now it will be a consistent part of my training

I went to the doctor this afternoon, and she confirmed my suspicion that what wrecked my stomach was a "perfect storm" of finishing an antibiotic, creatine loading, and taking Ibuprofen. It was nasty, and I learned a hard lesson, but I am getting back on track!

In the middle of November, we celebrated my older daughter's birthday on the Crest in a winter wonderland. Today is my birthday, and there is no snow visible on the Albuquerque side of the Sandias.

Starting on Wednesday morning, my gut biome has been undergoing fall cleaning. I only did 20:00 of Dig In Arms & Legs 1 today, but I know that I will be stronger when the cleaning is done!
