my most filmbro opinion is, that warren beatty is da shiit! well, but i guess filmbros in the sense of the word didn't even know beatty, and didn't even really watched b&c even tho they pose as if they had.

Has anyone seen the film Reds directed by Warren Beatty about Jack Reed? If so is it worth a watch or is it just anti-Communist nonsense? Part of me thinks that could be possible as I read Reagan screened it at the White House.

@Trans_Bolshevik It is definitely not anti communist. Beatty was fascinated by the formation of the American left and became obsessed with Reed. Highly recommended. Beatty also did a takedown of campaign financing and American politics later with BULLWORTH.

@iamBK_ it just has a lot of the same vibe and I feel like Costner took a lot from it

after trying Yellowstone and the other spin-offs and finding out how boring they are and the awful casting choices seen there and also here, I’m afraid I’m not excited for this anymore.
