That was all unnecessary drama. They didn’t have the capability to build nuclear weapons. The real issue is that Israel, without any solid evidence, created its own narrative claiming that Iran was developing nuclear weapons because it perceived Iran as a threat. The United States then accepted and supported that narrative.
