Collective bargaining is a right that helps employers and employees.
I’m concerned by reports that Boeing locked out IAFF I-66 members. I encourage folks to return to the table to secure a deal that benefits Boeing and gets these firefighters the pay and benefits they deserve.

If @Boeing was serious about #safety, it would pay its fire fighters a fair, living wage. Those in nearby cities make up to 30% more than those protecting Boeing's factories, planes, and people.

Nich Gullickson from @IAFF2024 spoke in support of #SB5236, saying ambulances are regularly waiting outside of hospitals instead of heading to the next emergency because there is no staff to care for them as caregivers are burning out & leaving the bedside.

@FedWayPD Animal Services Unit received a call this afternoon for a crow stuck in a tree, tangled in some fishing wire at Steel Lake Park. Due to the height at which the crow was stuck @Southkingfire was asked to assist. L364 made quick work of rescuing the bird.
