Technical Outlook • The BSE Metal Index has rebounded from its 200-day EMA, reaffirming strong long-term support. The US Dollar Index has reversed from the $100 mark; sustained weakness would act as a tailwind for metal stocks. • Tata Steel remains a preferred pick, as the stock has retraced to its earlier breakout zone (14th January 2026), now acting as support and offering a fresh entry opportunity. • Structurally, the stock is trending within a rising channel since April 2025. The recent rebound from the lower band on the weekly chart signals a higher base and a favourable risk-reward setup. • Going ahead, the stock is expected to move higher and challenge its all-time high of Rs 216.
