@BaIIogic @msubhanpriv The Gulf definitely might be "manufactured" but the powerhouse Arab clubs in the AFC Champs. League date back to the 50s. Even before Ronaldo at Nassr, there was a fierce Jeddah-Riyadh derby, and the east coast produced strikers like Al-Qahtani. Way ahead of the NASL setup.

@lolopantz Rang De Basanti was an absolute masterpiece though (writing this as a viewer from PK; a lot of the same themes apply). Never seen that sort of inqilaabi framework transported to the big screen - and the soundtrack was mindwarping.

@AllAboutFKK An incredible 6 episodes. I wasn't expecting a full mental breakdown from the protagonist but it still worked. Soundtrack was absolute peak as well.
