The closing ceremony was presided over by the Vice Chief of Defence Forces, Lt Gen J Omenda, who urged participants to carry forward the networks they’ve built, the lessons they’ve learned, and the spirit of cooperation fostered throughout the course.

After two intensive weeks of rigorous, all-encompassing practical and theoretical sessions, the 31st Regional Senior Mission Leaders Course came to a close today, 27 March, 2026. @BPST_A

The Director IPSTC, Major General C L Mwazighe commended him for his dedication, professionalism, and outstanding service throughout his tenure. The occasion also marked a smooth transition of leadership, as Lt Col Nicholas Foulerton officially assumed role of Chief of Staff.

IPSTC staff gathered to bid farewell to the outgoing Chief of Staff, Lieutenant Colonel Tobes Lyle, as he concluded his tour of duty. In his remarks, Lt Col Lyle expressed sincere gratitude to all IPSTC staff for their unwavering support over the years.

The 31st iteration of the Regional Senior Mission Leaders Course is currently underway, having been officially opened by Vice Chief of Defence Forces(VCDF), Lt Gen J Omenda.
