Last, but not least of the awards granted at #ISTA10, we wanted to do a special post about Louis Beyens, who was rightfully granted the Penard award for his lifetime achievement. Thank you for all your work and legacy!

And congratulations to Louis Beyens for the Eugène Penard Lifetime achievement award! Louis is known for his inspiring pioneer work on testate amoeba palaeoecology and numerous ecological and palaeoecological studies in the Arctic & Antarctic, including manipulative experiments🏆

Finally at #ISTA10 we had: 🏆 González-Miguéns and @RibeiroMagri shared the best PhD paper award 🏆 We had co-winners for the early researchers award: @KDumack and Anush Kosakyan 🏆@pseudopodyrlife was chosen as outstanding contribution of testate amoebae research Congrats🥳

We had so many good talks among the postdocs that attended #ISTA10, that it was hard to choose the best ones. But the prizes were nevertheless very well deserved. Stunning work, David Singer, Clément Duckert, @RibeiroMagri 🥳

And the best talks awards of #ISTA10 in the category of PhD student goes to... @Fer_ChCelis, Estelle P. Bruni and @PorfirioSousaA! Congratulations for your amazing talks!🥳
