We ask the Indiana University administration to recognize the Indiana Graduate Workers Coalition—United Electrical Workers Union (IGWC-UE). For our part, we as faculty pledge not to retaliate against any graduate student choosing to strike, and urge the University to do likewise.

So, tomorrow I'm going to do a thing. Following advice from people like @JenniferRaff, I've organized a reading group on science and race with the Dept of Religious Studies. The aim is to communicate our respective ideas better. In light of recent events, let's hope it works.
