New Chinese medium-weight airlifter, tentatively designated Y-30.

Payload: 30-32 tonnes (nominal), 40 tonnes (maximum war emergency load)
MTOW: 120,000-130,000kg
Range: 2500 nmi with 30 tonne payload, 4000 nmi (ferry)
VMo: 350kt IAS (Indicated Airspeed)
MMo: Mach 0.65
Service ceiling: 35000ft+
Key Attributes: Adopts a straighter wing design in exchange for better STOL characteristics while trading drag reduction and thus corresponding speed and range improvements obtained usually from a swept wing design, as in the A400M. Another reason for this is to obtain better performance-regulated takeoff weights from high-altitude airfields, such as those in the Sichuan, Tibetan, and Xinjiang regions.
