On International Customs Day 2023, a Handbook on Export Process & Documentation was released by Chief Commissioner, Delhi Customs. The book is intended to guide the Exporters, Custodian, and Customs field officers.

Under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahitsav activities, a webinar on ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत’ was organised by ICD TKD Export, in which Sh. Arun Kumar, retired professor, JNU were the honorary speaker. #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav

On 13th April, 2023, under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a blood donation camp was organised by ICD TKD Export Commr’ate at Concor premise at ICD TKD.

Under the Swachhta initiative of Customs, a renovated park for ICD employees was opened by the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Delhi Zone. The project included the installation of Dustbins, Benches, plantation, and the beautification of Export Warehouse premises. #SwachhBharat

Customs Detector Dog Unit (K9) and K9 Building were inaugurated by Dr. Aruna Narayan Gupta, the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Delhi Zone. Tughlakabad (Export) became the first ICD in the country to deploy Narcotics Dog Squad. #IndianCustomsAtWork

'Project Samavishta' - a Swachchhata initiative by TKD Export Commissionerate, renovated toilets at ten MCD Schools and two Schools for Specially abled children

An attempt to export “Iron Sheets” to the United States, mis- classifying the goods in order to evade Customs Duty was detected by officials of ICD TKD Export. Legal proceedings initiated

A consignment to Qatar where Iron sheets (HSN 7210) were misclassified as 'water storage tanks' (HSN 7309) to evade export duty @ 15% was detected by ICD TKD Export. The goods have been seized and further investigation on @cbic_india @Delhicustoms

Goods declared as brass builder hardware having declared value of Rs. 49,95,330/- seized by the SIIB & appeared to be overvalued and mis-classified to claim undue export benefits i.e. IGST Rs. 8,99,159/-, DBK, Rs. 71,100/- & RODTEP Rs. 29,972/-.

Mis- declaration of essential oils- including restricted "Sandalwood Oil" as "Orange Oil"- to export the items to United Kingdom has been detected by officials of ICD, TKD, Export. Goods have been seized and legal proceedings initiated.

An attempt to export “Used Auto Catalytic Converters - Ferrous Waste” (HSN 7204) to United Kingdom evading export duty by mis-classifying the goods (HSN 7112) has been booked by officials of ICD TKD Export.
