There’s something deeply unsettling about women gathering in spaces just to dissect another woman. Her looks, her body, her clothes. The “standard” you think she should live up to. Let’s be honest, this was never about her. Because a confident woman doesn’t sit in rooms tearing others apart. Confidence is quiet. It doesn’t announce itself, it doesn’t beg for attention, and it definitely doesn’t need to prove itself by diminishing another woman. It shows up in how you carry yourself, how you mind your business, and how you extend grace where others choose cruelty. A content woman? She is not losing sleep over society’s beauty standards. She is not measuring herself against someone else’s body, face, or lifestyle. She understands that beauty is not a competition, it’s an expression. Personal. Evolving. Unapologetic. So what does it say about those who gather to slander another woman’s name? It says there is a discomfort within. A noise they haven’t quieted. A comparison they haven’t outgrown. Because fulfilled women don’t fixate on tearing others down, they are too busy building themselves. Anyway we move, hopefully one day their light shines enough that they won’t even feel the need to sit for hours discussing a woman who is happy, content in who she is, and who has clearly done the work on herself. If your voice is only loud when you’re speaking on someone else, maybe it’s time to ask yourself why your own story isn’t enough to speak on. Because at some point, the question isn’t who she is, it’s why you’re so comfortable being small enough to reduce yourself to talking about her.
