Completed an important assignment at Rairangpur and now heading back to Bhubaneswar. Today morning a friend from Puri messaged that he had lit a lamp before Lord Jagannath and prayed for its successful completion. The duty is over now. CONDOLENCES: One more brave-heart passes away in the process of dousing forest fires in #Uttarakhand. That's Sohan Singh Rawat, a forest guard who passed away late last night in the Purola area in district #Uttarkashi . Sadly, this is not the first fatality since state has lost forest staff earlier while trying to battle forest fires. With an increase in such instances, I urge the bosses of the forest dept to investigate deeper and come up with solutions to reduce or minimize these untimely deaths and injuries. Mere condolences from political leadership and policy makers are not enough! Om Shanti 🙏
