Perfect scenario my opinion Febechi Nwaiwu be center & Keylan Rutledge RG. Let Ed Ingram & Jake Andrews be backup

My post draft, way too early 53 man depth chart projection! #HTownMade I think there will be some veteran depth signings post draft, hopefully at Edge, outside CB, and RB. Don’t pay too much attention to the DT order, they are all going to rotate constantly! Thoughts?

This is my first “who?” Of the draft for the Texans. Doesn’t mean I don’t hate it, I just admittedly didn’t know much about him. Quick research shows he’s played both guards and RT & has measurables of 6’4” 1/4 & 34 1/2” arms that could project to tackle. Broadcast also noted he’s a very high character (makes sense) & won an award for that in the all-star game he played in.

Texans have been one of the worst offensive drafting teams in the NFL since the start of the Nick Caserio Tenure. - Juice Scruggs (bust) - Blake Fisher ( bust) - John Metchie ( bust) - Dell ( might as well be counted as a miss) - Kenyon Green (bust) - DP (bust) - Cade (bust)

What I am hoping for today. Pick 106 & 117 4th Rounders- 1. Dani Dennis-Sutton- Good size, good against the run, back-to-back 8.5 sack seasons. Needs to develop more pass rush, but we need young, cost-controlled depth at the position. Barnett and Autry are gone, and Horton is in the final year of his rookie deal. 2. Jermod McCoy - At this point, I mean why not? 3. Keionte Scott - Pitre Depth 4. Mike Washington Jr- Add Some SPEED 5. Dametrious Crownover- OT Prospect with Trent Brown size. 6. Gracen Halton- One of the cleanest scheme fits for this defense, I know we got a DT, but this guy is a true 3T. 7. Elijah Sarratt- Always in the exact place he was supposed to be. Hutch is in the last year of his deal. Wouldn't hate it here. 8. Bryce Lance- SPEED.. but small school, not sure if Nick knows he exists. ------------------------------------------------------------ Pick 141 5th Rounder 1. Adam Randall- I feel like I am on an island alone with this one. I see a player with unique size/speed combination that has produced both in the run game and the passing game. 6'3 250 with a 4.5 Speed is just different. He is not the best back that will be on the board at this point, but to me he's the most intriguing. 2. Demond Claiborne- Bro is tiny, but fast AF, adds a different element to the backfield. 3.Kaytron Allen- Kind of feels like more of the same type of RB than what we currently have on the roster but he does feel like a good pick at this point. 4.Deontae Lawson- Can I interest you in a 5th round Alabama LB? 5.Tyren Montgomery- Feels early but we are all expecting this one right? ------------------------------------------------------------ Pick 243- Brett Thorson- it makes sense to bring in some competition at punter. Thorson won the Ray Guy for the best punter in college football last season.
