I impatiently started this process before I learned from you that I needed to upgrade the OS to the 0.4 beta version. Maybe that's why Debian 13 didn't work though I successfully created a Start Tunnel with a Debian 12 droplet from DigitalOcean. Now I'm having trouble upgrading the OS. I get the correct screen on the start.local page, but when I try tם upload the new operating system, I get a screen with a fleeting error message, which I captured with a screenshot. I've attached the photo of the screen and a close-up picture of the error message below. Maybe the problem is that I'm trying to upgrade to OS 0.4 from 0.3, and I need to first upload to 0.3.5.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

@InQuisitive138 @elkrun21 Debian 13 should work on Digital Ocean for hosting StartTunnel. Is your Start9 server upgraded to 0.4.0? I think I'm close to having everything set up correctly, and will be sharing in a video soon. Would love to hear your experience
English

Just rented 2 PH for 2 weeks on Braiins and pointed it to Matt's friend's node mentioned in the video. It was easy to do. Saw it on OCEAN almost immediately. I'll provide an update at the end of the two weeks. So just like that I'm now mining 2,000X what I was doing on my tiny 1TH BitAxe (abeit, on a "trusted" node as an interim solution until I can get my setup figured out).
The only glitch I ran across was that for some reason, Braiins wouldn't let me Create a bid when using Safari. The Create button was grayed out. It worked fine using Chrome though.
This really is a game changer. Even if it's at a nominal loss it's worth it to help keep the network decentralized (and signal for BIP-110).
I'm doing this in the interim until I can figure out how to get my Start9 node connected to Braiins. It's behind Starlink, which uses CGNAT, which prevents port forwarding. I have the Starlink router in bypass mode connected to a WiFi mesh router, but it still doesn't work even with the router configured for port forwarding. Starlink's CGNAT still prevents it. It think Start Tunnel is the answer but I couldn't get it configured correctly. Will probably just wait until Start9 v4 is fully released and give it another go.
Matt, thanks for sharing the info. Gotta say, all the support behind Knots, BIP-110 and now hash renting is very encouraging.

🚨 This was the most insane single day in American foreign policy in a generation and most people missed half of it..
> Iran agreed to suspend its entire nuclear program — indefinitely..
> Iran agreed to never close the Strait of Hormuz again..
> zero dollars changed hands.. no frozen funds.. no pallets of cash..
> the US naval blockade on Iran stays up until the final deal is signed..
> Trump publicly ordered Israel to stop bombing Lebanon — used the word PROHIBITED in all caps..
> Netanyahu went on live TV and admitted he was acting on a US request..
> Defense Minister Katz got overruled within hours after saying Lebanon ops "have not yet been completed"..
> a 10-day Israel-Lebanon ceasefire took effect overnight.. displaced Lebanese civilians started walking back to their villages..
> oil dropped 12% in minutes.. global equities surged..
> Iran's Foreign Minister declared the Strait of Hormuz "completely open" — first time since March 27..
all of this.. one Friday..
if you're not following me you're finding out about this 48 hours late from someone who read my post..

So the current line from the Democrat/Media Complex goes something like this:
“Oh, so the Straits of Hormuz are open again. Big deal. So we spent all that money and killed all those people just to achieve something that was already in place before we started this.”
They are acting like opening the Straits of Hormuz was our singular military objective.
In reality, our objectives were to destroy Iran’s military and nuclear capabilities, eradicate the class of mullahs who were murdering their own citizens by the bushel, and eliminate the mullahs’ ability to export terror throughout the world.
All objectives were achieved with only a few U.S. casualties, the world is now a vastly safer place, and as an added bonus Israel and Lebanon seem poised to finally achieve peace.
This is one of the greatest military victories in world history, and the usual suspects are trying to obscure that fact by pretending our objective was something tertiary to the entire effort.
Don’t fall for it. It’s a journalistic lie.

@JustAJaneJ @WhiteHouse It's remarkable how much people can change! Celebrate that.

🚨 “WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON?” — KATIE COURIC WARNS 17 CANCERS ARE SKYROCKETING… AND NO ONE CAN EXPLAIN WHY
Katie Couric says doctors are now seeing something they can’t ignore:
• A 21-year-old with stage 4 colorectal cancer — no family history
• Patients in their 20s, 30s, 40s being diagnosed late… already metastatic
• 17 different cancers increasing among people under 50
And even specialists are struggling to explain it.
Possible factors being discussed:
• Ultra-processed food
• Microplastics + “forever chemicals”
• Antibiotic overuse
• Environmental exposure
Couric: “It’s not just lifestyle… something is going on.”
And the most unsettling part?
Many cases are being caught too late.
So what changed?
What do you think is actually behind this spike?

@Devon_Eriksen_ This is excellent. Please edit “migrating” to “mitigating”, or I’m misunderstanding you.

Most people think of philosophy as an abstraction that doesn't touch the real world, but they're wrong.
Most real world problems are philosophy problems, and most philosophy problems are "giving things the wrong names".
For example, if you call feral drug addicts "homeless people", then you can't solve the problem. You can only buy more houses for feral drug addicts to destroy.
In this case, we called the police and courts the "justice system".
But they're not. They can't be the justice system.
The function of a justice system would be to give everyone what they deserve.
Now, I deserve a hundred million dollars, a private Caribbean island, and a foot massage from Lauren Bacall in her prime, but I don't see the "justice" system lifting a finger to correct any of this, do you?
No, what we are supposed to have is a public safety system.
The function of a public safety system is to keep the public and their property safe.
If we understood that, we wouldn't care about what criminals deserve. We would care how likely they are to do it again. Or something worse.
In a public safety system, retardation and mental illness are not migrating factors. They are the opposite.
Because they mean that the criminal is more likely to pose a future threat.
We all understand this.
We all understand that the feral retard who stabs strangers on the train for being White and beautiful is a worse person than the man who murders his wife and her lover when he catches them in the act.
Not because of some abstract calculus of moral agency, of who is disadvantaged and who isn't, but because one is certainly going to murder more people if he can, while the other is a lot less likely to.
We've known for centuries, if not millennia, that it's the same small percentage of people doing all the robbing, raping, and murdering, over and over and over again.
And we've known for centuries that if you physically remove them from society, that's 100% effective in stopping them from doing it again.
The only hurdle is philosophical. Call it a "justice" system, and you have to argue endlessly about morality and redemption, and then some leftie thug-hugger weaponizes your own Christianity against you.
Call it public safety, and you confine the argument to likelihood of reoffense. Then you are in the realm of statistics. Which you can compute.
It all starts with naming things correctly, according to their actual nature.

@grok @NicHulscher @grok The only way I can make sense of lower mortality in these babies born of mRNA vaccinated mothers is that the presence of mRNA vaccination is a proxy for more pre-natal care. Do you have another explanation?
English

Both studies use independent national/government health registries (Sweden/Norway: 98%+ birth coverage via public medical birth/vaccination databases; Canada/Ontario: ICES-linked admin data covering >98% hospital births + centralized vax registry).
Norman et al (JAMA 2024, 196k infants): Public funding (Karolinska/Region Stockholm grants, Norwegian Research Council, NordForsk, Freemasons foundation). No pharma ties or disclosures. Logistic regression + sensitivity analyses (subgroups by prior vax, no COVID infection, term births) adjusted for age/BMI/education/smoking/parity/etc. Lower neonatal mortality (aOR 0.68) held across strata.
Jorgensen et al (JAMA Pediatrics 2023, 142k births): Funded by Canadian public health/research networks (CIRN, PHAC, CIHR). No pharma funding/conflicts. Inverse probability weighting balanced measured confounders; bias analysis for unmeasured ones still showed protective estimates.
No evidence of manipulation by mRNA manufacturers—data are public, non-industry, and pre-collected. Observational limits (residual confounding) exist but are openly addressed.
English

CDC data shows babies born are now dying at a >50% excess rate — YEARS after mass mRNA vaccination of young women.
Mississippi recently declared a PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY over soaring infant deaths, now linked to transgenerational mRNA “vaccine” fatal adverse events.
The 30-year decline in infant mortality completely reversed immediately following the mRNA injection campaign in 2021. It hasn't gone down since.
Excess infant death causes mirror those observed in vaccinated adults, suggesting transfer of mRNA "vaccine" genetic material to offspring — which was just proven in a recent study.
A transgenerational crisis is here — children are dying who were never injected, but whose mothers were.
English

@grok I’m extremely suspicious of the claim that “Large cohort studies (Sweden/Norway: 196k infants; Canada: 142k) found maternal mRNA vaccination linked to *lower* neonatal mortality and morbidity, with no transplacental mRNA transfer or genetic effects on offspring.“
Explore each of those studies in depth with an eye toward how the methods and data collection could have been manipulated by parties with large financial stakes in the mRNA products.
English

The post is partially accurate but largely misleading on scale and causation.
US infant mortality rose 3% in 2022 (5.44 to 5.61 deaths/1,000 live births per CDC), the first significant increase in 20+ years after a long decline; it held steady in 2023 (5.61) and dipped slightly in 2024 (~5.5). No data shows >50% (or 77%) excess in infants.
Mississippi declared a public health emergency in Aug 2025 over its 2024 rate of 9.7/1,000 (highest in a decade, driven by prematurity, low birthweight, and unsafe sleep).
No evidence supports mRNA vaccines as the cause. Large cohort studies (Sweden/Norway: 196k infants; Canada: 142k) found maternal mRNA vaccination linked to *lower* neonatal mortality and morbidity, with no transplacental mRNA transfer or genetic effects on offspring. The "recent study" claim refers to debunked in-vitro speculation, not real-world harm.

Since the new talking point by Tucker and the rest of the Eurasian slop peddlers is that Islam loves Christ so much I decided to do some research.
Let me describe for you all Dajjal (their version of the “anti-Christ/anti-Messiah”)
Dajjal as described in canonical Islamic hadith Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, the most authoritative sources in Sunni Islam map almost perfectly onto the characteristics of Jesus Christ as described in the New Testament.
Let me go through them all for you guys:
1. Claims to be the Messiah
In Arabic, Al-Masih means The Messiah.
Jesus’s title in Islam is Isa Al-Masih Jesus the Messiah.
The Antichrist’s title is Al-Masih ad-Dajjal: The Messiah the Deceiver.
Or more precisely: The False Messiah.
Both figures share the same title. That is not an accident.
In Islamic theology, that claim is the deception itself.
The claim that a human being is God, that God took on flesh, that a man should be worshipped as divine is by Islam considered the greatest possible falsehood a person could perpetrate against humanity.
Now ask yourself who in history made exactly those claims?
Jesus of Nazareth.
“I and the Father are one.” John 10:30.
“Before Abraham was, I am.” John 8:58.
“Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” John 14:9.
2. Heals the sick
The Dajjal performs miracles which resemble those performed by Isa (Jesus), such as healing the sick. The healing ministry of Jesus; lepers, blind men, paralytics is one of the central features of the Gospels. The Dajjal performs the identical miracles. Crazy huh.
3. Raises the dead
The Dajjal performs miracles including raising the dead. Jesus raised Lazarus, the widow’s son at Nain, and Jairus’s daughter.
4. Controls weather and commands the earth to produce
The Dajjal will come to people and summon them to believe in him. “He will give command to the sky and it will give rain and to the earth and it will produce crops.”
Jesus calmed the storm, walked on water, multiplied bread and fish.
5. Has a large following, most of them will be Jews
Jesus was Jewish, preached primarily to Jews, and His earliest followers were all Jewish.
The twelve apostles were Jewish.
6. Makes his final stand in Jerusalem
The Dajjal will make his final stand in Jerusalem, the third sanctuary.
Strange same as Christ. Huh.
7. Descends or appears from the East
Tradition expects the Dajjal to appear in the East, possibly Khorasan.
Jesus was born in the Middle East.
8. His “paradise” is described as hell and his “hell” as paradise
The Dajjal brings his own paradise and hell with him, but his hell will be paradise and his paradise will be hell.
This is a direct inversion of Christian soteriology.
In Christianity, Jesus offers true paradise to those who follow Him and warns of hell for those who reject Him.
What Dajjal calls paradise is actually hell, meaning those who follow his promise of salvation are deceived. Strange.
Almost like it’s meant to deceive you.
Most other religions simply ignore Jesus or minimize him. Islam does something far more sophisticated.
It keeps Jesus. It honors Jesus. It gives Jesus a second coming. It makes Jesus the one who defeats evil and establishes justice on earth.
But then it strips Him of everything that makes Him Christ like His divinity, His resurrection, His identity as the Son of God, His atoning death and replaces those with an Islamic prophet who returns to destroy the very symbols of Christian faith.
Islamic end-times system is the only major religious framework that produces a second-coming Jesus who is the enemy of Christianity while appearing to be its fulfillment.
Again. Strange.

Well it looks like the Pope’s interference in American politics is still top of the news cycle, so I want to repeat something.
The Democrat/Media Complex deliberately set this up so faithful Catholics would be forced to choose: Trump or your faith?
That’s a false dichotomy. The Pope is speaking on politics, offering his opinion only and he is not speaking ex cathedra.
You are not obligated to agree with the Pope in these matters where he speaks as an ordinary human.
If you are a Catholic, you can still support Trump, and disagree with what the Pope is saying about the Iran War and American politics, and still remain true to your Catholic faith.
Please do not fall for the either/or con job.

Obama authorized 542 drone strikes, dropped over 26,000 bombs in a single year across seven countries, and killed between 380 and 801 civilians according to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism and YET not a single one of his three Secretaries of Defense (Leon Panetta, Chuck Hagel, or Ash Carter) was ever served with articles of impeachment.
Over his full eight-year presidency (2009–2017), Obama dropped approximately 92,000 to 100,000 bombs and missiles across seven to eight countries, according to compiled U.S. Air Force and coalition data. That works out to roughly 31 to 34 bombs per day, or about 1.3 to 1.4 bombs every single hour for eight straight years.
Congressional approval?
Zero.
This is why not one sane person can ever take anything the Democratic Party does seriously.

The current anti-Israel and even anti-Jewish sentiment online is a social contagion, no different than transgenderism or autism before it.
Of course, there is actually a condition known as gender dysphoria. But every family in Hollywood didn't suddenly and coincidentally have at least one child with gender dysphoria at the exact same time by natural processes.
And of course there is actually a condition known as autism. But every family in Manhattan didn't suddenly and coincidentally have at least one child with autism at the exact same time by natural processes.
You aren't an Israel skeptic, and you didn't start "noticing." You were told, and shown by interested parties, and you were rewarded with attention and dopamine by the tellers and showers.
And as with every social contagion, what you have been told and shown is an overwhelming quantity of selectively chosen half-truths -- or full-truths with half-context.
You believe you are a free thinker, but when every "free thinker" arrives at the same conclusion at the exact same time... well, the thinking isn't as free as you believe it is.

I genuinely don’t know whether to laugh or lose my mind anymore at this European hypocritical double standards.
When it comes to Vladimir Putin, suddenly it’s Churchillian resolve. No compromise. No dialogue. Arm Ukraine to the teeth, sanction everything that moves, wreck your own energy security if necessary - because tyranny must be confronted.
Fine. I actually respect the consistency of that … in isolation.
But then you turn around and lecture us - us - the Gulf monarchies, Jordan and Israel, about showing restraint with Tehran? About dialogue? About coexistence?
Are you serious?
For forty years - forty bloody years - this regime has been waging a shadow war across the region. Militias, proxies, sleeper cells, terror networks, destabilizing entire countries - Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen - and threatening the Gulf monarchies, Jordan, and Israel nonstop.
This isn’t theoretical. This isn’t abstract. This is lived reality.
And yet here come Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, and the rest of the European choir, gently advising us to calm down, de-escalate, and - what was it again? - “give diplomacy a chance.”
Diplomacy with who, exactly? With a system that has built its entire regional strategy on plausible deniability and proxy terror violence?
You were willing to absorb inflation, energy shocks, and political backlash at home to confront Moscow. You made that choice. You said: this is the price of standing up to a tyrant.
So don’t come here and tell us - after decades of being on the receiving end - that we should just sit down, smile politely, and “coexist.”
Either you believe in confronting tyranny everywhere .. or you don’t.
Macron, Starmer, rest of EU leaders and top bureaucrats should just STFU and spare us the self righteous sanctimonious lectures!🤐🤫

Elon Musk just put the entire university system on trial.
Not the curriculum. Not the professors. The premise.
Musk: “You don’t need college to learn stuff. Everything is available basically for free. You can learn anything you want for free.”
For a thousand years, universities held one monopoly. Access. You paid the toll or you stayed ignorant.
The internet erased that in a decade.
Every lecture. Every framework. Every textbook. Free. From any screen on Earth.
The six-figure tuition is no longer buying knowledge. It is buying a signal.
Musk: “There is a value that colleges have, which is seeing whether somebody can work hard at something, including a bunch of annoying homework assignments, and still do their homework assignments.”
That is the product. Not intelligence. Not creativity. Not vision. Compliance.
You are paying $200,000 to prove you can tolerate bureaucracy on a schedule.
Musk: “Colleges are basically for fun and to prove you can do your chores. But they’re not for learning.”
The entire system is a sorting machine for corporate HR. It does not measure what you can build. It measures whether you can sit still, follow directions, and deliver on command.
Four years of obedience dressed as education.
Musk: “If you’re trying to do something exceptional, you must have evidence of exceptional ability. I don’t consider going to college evidence of exceptional ability.”
The system optimizes for average. It rewards the compliant. It certifies the patient. It quietly filters out everyone who refuses to wait for permission.
The ones who reshaped the modern world never finished the test.
Musk: “Gates is a pretty smart guy, he dropped out. Jobs is pretty smart, he dropped out. Larry Ellison, smart guy, he dropped out.”
They did not drop out because it was too hard. They dropped out because the speed limit was too low.
The most dangerous thing a university does is convince a generational talent that finishing the syllabus is the achievement.
It is not. It is the floor.
A degree is a receipt for compliance. The future has never belonged to people who finish their homework. It belongs to the ones who never needed the assignment.

So the Pope met with David Axelrod last week. David Axelrod. Obama's campaign architect. A man who is not Catholic, has never met a pope before, and whose entire career has been engineering political narratives for the American left.
And then, by pure coincidence, the Pope immediately started lobbing shots at the Trump administration, and three US Cardinals popped up on 60 Minutes doing the same thing.
All organically, I'm sure.
I'm a practicing Catholic. I need you to understand that part. But in my opinion, Trump has all the right to lash out at him. Maybe you'll disagree, but in the end, Trump talks like Trump. Water is wet. I'm talking about MY Church being run like a DNC satellite office but with a golden throne.
This is the same Vatican that watched governments padlock churches during COVID and said nothing. That let Biden take communion while funding abortion and said nothing. That fired Bishop Strickland for defending actual Church doctrine. That removed Bishop Fernández in Puerto Rico for defending religious exemptions THE CATECHISM ITSELF supports.
But somehow Trump is the threat to human dignity.
Pope Francis was bad. Leo has turned out to be worse. Francis at least was vague about his politics. Leo went and hired the consulting firm.
The man has ignored the slaughter of Christians across Nigeria, the Sahel, India, Syria, Bangladesh, Pakistan. Hundreds of believers murdered, churches burned, pastors kidnapped. His response? Platitudes about dialogue.
OF COURSE he won't even name who's doing the killing.
But he'll fly across continents to make interfaith gestures the week after his people coordinated a media hit on a sitting US president.
The weaponization of belief is obvious. You get the Pope to pick a fight with Trump, and suddenly millions of conservative Catholics have to choose between their faith and their vote.
