@granblue4444 @vodkalover52 I don't understand the want for Opera O specifically tbh. I think the setup you're thinking here is amazing. But classic year would just the RTTT from a different angle. Unbeaten year is hard to really start on. But I think you can get around it by focusing on Doto

@vodkalover52 Plus the drama! The losses are sometimes blamed on an inexperienced jockey, And after his loss in his senior year he never wins again, it’s a version of the “past your prime” narrative that Kitasan black had which actually holds true!

9/10 times a underdog protagonist who struggles a lot is better for a narrative then someone who is incredibly dominate and consistently wins. That's why i think a series with someone like Opera O or Ruldof as protagonists for example just isn't likely to work that well.

@verde_verdi @faust_bang @Haurmeya But you also need a way to get bofa anyways, so even on longs adding more than 1 card for recovery is really annoying

@verde_verdi @faust_bang @Haurmeya Yeah I agree the mile/medium I mentioned is a moot point. Also never went into the bofa is better or not convo. Just that as a skill it is better than Iron Will, Bofa is still better even in it's current form(After 2nd anni balance it's infinitely better)

@adventurekibry @ProgDirectorate @Haurmeya They definitely will help catch up??? The biggest strength of end closers are their late race target speed. Reaching that quicker means longer time they catch up to the Kita running away. And let's not forget Ayabe does have a .35 unique late race aswell

@Incanium @ProgDirectorate @Haurmeya I'd argue that in cm11 mid race speed is even more important than ever for end closers because, this time, they're up against front runners like kitasan who will absolutely widen their distance with the end umas if they don't have enough midlegs, more accels won't help catch up

@adventurekibry @ProgDirectorate @Haurmeya At least against Golshi specifically where her lack of innate accel options(at least iirc?) ends up hurting quite a lot. Especially on something like a long cm

At least in Pisces(Haven't really looked into Aries) I would much rather force in Bijin wit for NSM rather than Ayabe Power for Daring Strike. Losing more slots hurts even for whales I would think

@Incanium @ProgDirectorate @Haurmeya it is hard to fit the ayabe card in normal decks yeah, but whales can slot anything since they can easily reach statlines. mant is f2p friendly thats true, but the difference between whales and f2ps is that the whales will have access to the good gold skills

@Incanium @ProgDirectorate It's the opposite, you have to be 7th or worse and if there's more than 5 meters between 1st place and her it becomes 0.45. But if you are 7th or worse during the last straight you already lost

@adventurekibry @ProgDirectorate @Haurmeya It's for 2 cms, that she has no way of getting it. And it is sacrificing a card slot for a power card. Especially on Pisces where you're already gonna be worrying about stamina and recovery skills

@Frozt_KSA @ProgDirectorate Yes I'm not trying to say it's a good skill either(It sucks balls). But in almost all cases it will either proc too early or not at all. Saying it procs when you've already lost is basically never happening on any respectably built end closer

Sturm only procs at the back so either it hits before youve accelerated (useless) or youve accelerated but are somehow still at the back of the pack (youve already lost) It has no real good outcomes in a realistic race unless the late race is rlly long

@verde_verdi @faust_bang @Haurmeya No it has accumulatetime=10 on it. So it won't proc within the first 10 seconds of a race. That means the main positioning has happened and you should be fine to not get instantly blocked. On miles/shorter mediums 10s is also enough for a gold recov to not be wasted

@faust_bang @Haurmeya Her heal is iron will but end closer only. It's way worse than BOFA.

@ProgDirectorate @Haurmeya What??? We're going into mant, one of the most f2p friendly scenarios. The only negative for deckbuilding she has there is that she can't use guts builds, and she can't get daring strike until cb wit. Otherwise just make better parents

@Haurmeya I'm pro oshi-pulling but from what I can tell you really need a meta whale card deck to build an ayabe who's remotely viable for CMs/TTs

@VtuberSimpin @morfonicant @wuzzerino Yeah if you can make it work like that, without losing out on too much in the other cards fair play. It's probably also since I've forced myself into a position where I can't use the guts build, so my playstyle becomes a bit more annoying

@Incanium @morfonicant @wuzzerino Depends on your deck for Track you'll want 50-60 race bonus which you can still hit even with 2 5% race bonus cards. The deck i plan to run with 3lb Fuku has 58 race bonus and if i need an extra bit I can swap with mlb shinko

@VtuberSimpin @morfonicant @wuzzerino The race bonus is the important part you're losing before mlb. So it's quite important tbh

@morfonicant @wuzzerino Between crystal and selector I could mlb her but shes usable at 3lb you just lose a few initial stats and 5 race bonus.
