None of this will work. What might work to reduce corruption is this: remove need for physical interaction for government services and anonymise data submission. Put strict timelines to assess requests and submissions.
Ravisutanjani@Ravisutanjani

🚨 Govt Should Do Bureaucratic Reforms Now • CCTV Mandatory at All Times • Promotion Strictly Based on Performance • Official-Public Interaction via Video Call • 100% Biometric Attendance for Govt Employees This Can Significantly Reduce Corruption

Jorge Guajardo makes an important point here. The idea that a good way to increase consumption is to import more cheap consumer goods represents a failure to understand the economy as a system. In fact the only sustainable way to increase consumption is to increase the value of production.

Hay quien cree en México que China puede ser un contrapeso comercial a los Estados Unidos. Esta gráfica demuestra que no lo es. China solo vende, no compra.

Never visit any Gym where the owner or the trainer is a Katuwa. What began as gym training ended as a predatory trap. Surat police have nabbed Shabbir Anwar Trunkwala, a gym trainer who allegedly groomed a married woman under the cover of fitness coaching, then turned predator on her family. When the husband tried to rescue his marriage, Trunkwala weaponized the woman’s photographs, threatened public humiliation, and slapped a ₹5 lakh demand to release his grip. A textbook case of trust exploited and lives held to ransom. Boycott all Katuwa involved business, that is the best way.

@Paimon_goetia Ambitions of Indians and Chinese were different from the get-go! Chinese wanted territorial expansion, internal order, and industrialisation. Indians were meanwhile happy with partition, diversity, and dumbocracy.

@somnath1978 Because urban population has risen a lot, but in current formula the rural seats have more representation. Since you cannot decrease seats, to get equitable representation seats need to go up.

Why do we need more MPs? US has 100 senators and 435 Congressmen. 545 LS + 250 RS seem good enuf for us. We shd have many more municipal workers, teachers, cops and judges instead...

Toss-up is if the marginal factory continues to generate reasonable ROE @ 20k/mth wages competing agnst Vietnam, BD, Thailand. Or does it make sense for the factory to move to robots in place of workers. Or shut down and use the capital to invest in fin mkts..
Roshan Kishore@Roshanjnu

₹20k per month is what a lot of Noida factory workers seem to be asking for a monthly wage. How much does a factory worker earn in India? We looked at the government’s numbers. cc @naalmot

🚨 Kanpur Dowry Horror 🚨 This is beyond shameful. A retired railway official, Ramesh Dubey, was caught on video mercilessly dragging and beating his daughter-in-law, Meenakshi Pandey, on the street , stripping her dignity as she cried for help. She alleges years of torture over a ₹20 lakh dowry and illegal remarriage by her husband. Only after public outrage did police act. Justice must be swift, strict, and unforgiving.
