@GZsgallos2007 Snipers were said to one of the hated groups, Flamethrowers too.
I guess Drone operators join this group too
English

A little interesting fact: During World War II, soldiers hated snipers so much that they almost never spared their lives, not even when they surrendered with their hands up. Perhaps an American soldier told a story about his comrade putting an entire Thompson submachine gun magazine into a German sniper who surrendered after being unable to escape after attacking the Americans.
(I may be wrong and saying untrue things)

Finally caught the sniper

@kiwifrutii There is also a theory that Gold Ship that due to his sensitive nature he prefers horses who are calm and considering that he is the one who chooses fight that challenge probably acts a trigger switch. With calm horses such triggers don't exist. Gold Ship's "horse friends" contd.

@HikaruHalo_0603 IKR, But I feel almost the same about glazers of some other horses/Umas

@renchinwestrong @PissDrinccer Let's be big and chonky like Papa
English

@HikaruHalo_0603 @_emotionaldawn One possibility could be the difference in racing culture? But I don't know how that influences results
English

@IndicDawn @_emotionaldawn Seems to be so but then again iirc Demuro's commented its not too fast but something else (?) Ah well, its a conondrum lol just gotta try and try again till they find the missing piece
English

@HikaruHalo_0603 @_emotionaldawn To be fair I don't have a lot of ideas. Because Japanese horses are somewhat consistent everywhere else? But then there are many races they have not tried yet? Also weren't Japanese tracks like Tokyo seen as too fast?
English

@IndicDawn @_emotionaldawn I dunno, it felt like Japan is going in the wrong direction but then again when it is a once a year undertaking, its going to take a long time to find the clue and strats
English

@HikaruHalo_0603 @_emotionaldawn Probably but it was difficult even in older times?
English

@IndicDawn @_emotionaldawn This is just my thought but iirc Japan's Turf has been firm and fast for years if not decades now. Perhaps over time the number of Japan's horses that can handle wet turf goes down and down cuz of that...
English

@_emotionaldawn @HikaruHalo_0603 It's a lot to do with the type of turf at Longchamp where the race takes place among other factors
English

@HikaruHalo_0603 Is that wet field really that bad for japan horses?
English

@TasinAlam3 @HikaruHalo_0603 Harp Star was a 3 yo talented filly who won Oka Sho before being sent to L'Arc and her career took a nose dive before being retired due to an injury later on.
English

@IndicDawn @badoodledoo @Eugene43708771 @cocoarini exactly, Gold Ship haters are so delusional, its laughable
English

Also people tend to forget that the irl Gold Ship is a CLASSIC DOUBLE CROWN WINNER. He's a very strong horse in his own right.

As much as I am happy Oju Chosan is selected for Hall of Fame, it always makes me sad that every time I go to the JRA Museum, Golshi is always nowhere in sight... oh well, now at least we can see Orfevre and Oju Chosan there.. I just hope he is able to get the threshold by 2035..
