The planned classroom support changes are aimed at delivering the best possible outcomes for children and young people. Around 40 Principals attended the workshops at CCMS offices in Lisburn, as part of our Empowering Leadership Programme. #catholicmaintainedschools #empoweringleadership #ccms

We were delighted to attend a commemorative event marking the opening of the Inter-Schools Peace Capsule at St Louise’s Comprehensive College. The Peace Capsule was dedicated on Tuesday, 7 March 2000, following months of collaborative planning led by student representatives from 19 schools across the Belfast area. The project embodied the hope of a generation of young people committed to building peace within our shared community. It was the wish of the students involved that the capsule be opened after 25 years, with the hope that by 2026, young people across Belfast would have enjoyed a sustained period of peace and prosperity. Projects like this show the power of young people, schools and communities working together for a peaceful future.
