Can someone explain to my why animating on paper innately flows better from drawing to drawing opposed to digital

Everytime I get better at drawing I also get better at seeing everything I could improve at and it begs the question: is anyone actually satisfied with their art? Do u think the masters ever get to a point where they have nothing else to learn and just go “yep looks great!!”
