We are delighted to announce the election of Magdalena Zivanovic as President of the 16th PEJE! 👏 Congratulations also to the two elected Vice-Presidents, Lisa Oppermann and Oleg Tihon, who are committed to raising the voice of youth for European water.

The highlight of the 16th EYPW, the candidates for the Presidency and Vice-Presidency shared their vision for the future and the development of youth action for water on a European scale during a debate this morning. It gave rise to an exchange of views with all the participants.

Across Europe, young people are a source of innovative ideas and solutions emerging locally to address water and biodiversity issues. 💧🌿 At the Project Forum, 16th EYPW members and partner organizations had the opportunity to share these solutions.

Back to the advocacy session ! The mission of the EYPW is to make the voice of European youth heard on issues crucial to the future of our continent. To support them in this process, several experts shared their advocacy experience. 🙌

💧 To effectively meet the challenge of sustainable management of water resources and protection of biodiversity, the mobilization of all players and the commitment of institutions at all levels are essential. This was the key message conveyed this morning at the 16th EYPW.

📣ISW and the WYPW are attending this week the 10th MoP to the Water Convention hosted in Slovenia in collaboration with the UNECE Water Convention secretariat! 💧 An opportunity to foster transboundary water cooperation and ways to better involving civil society and youth ✨
