For as many who have labeled me as a Yoruba lady borne out of my conviction to say Yorubas are the most accommodating tribe in Nigeria,I must confess it is a nice plaudit bcuz there is no one who doesn't want to align with most prosperous tribe in Nigeria. Forget media charlatans

YES, KWANKWASO IS RIGHT: HE'S A BIGGER AND MORE SENIOR POLITICIAN THAN PETER OBI. This is a controversial issue. Kwankwaso said he can't deputize Peter Obi and he's right. So the OK or KO movement is dead on arrival. And I know many Obidients especially the ones who got active politically in 2023, will be shocked when they hear this argument. What have they seen and how much do they know about the two men? First of all, don't ever attempt to judge the political level of both men with the 2023 elections alone. Both men had different circumstances that year. Obi was just any other politician who only wished to be at Kwankwaso's level before he inherited the momentum that was waiting for professor Yemi Osinbajo prior to the APC primaries in 2023. He was never a grassroot politician. In fact the primaries that produced him as Governor was allegedly won by chief Raph Okay Nwosu, founder of the ADC. He found it hard to win re-election until late Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu came to help out . He couldn't organize local government elections because he was scared of losing the state through a hijack by the Uba brothers who ran the PDP. Obi has never had political influence that you could use to say "this man can move things" whether in Anambra or nationally. You could see that even during the past Anambra elections, his party couldn't win anything. You could see how he mismanaged the Obidient movement? All these are not intentional. He's never been the guy who gives himself stress with trying to mobilize men or people. He's the typical briafcase politician. The "don't stress me" kind of politician. But Kwankwaso? He's always been a big name. A grassroot man. Two time Governor of Kano State. Former senator. Former Minister of defense. Founding member of the APC. And he's been the mover and shaker of the Kano politics. Don't forget...Kano is Nigeria when it comes to politics. Obi won 12 states and got 6M votes in 2023. Kwankwaso won just Kano and got around 1M votes. Don't judge with that. He was just building his platform and he was able to even win Kano , swept the house of Assembly, Representatives and senate. Now put him on a PDP platform or LP platform as of that time. He would have performed far better. Platforms win elections not just personalities. Put a big name on a party without structures, he'll perform badly. But put me Maximillian (an unknown face) on APC platform in Lagos to run against a popular face like Deji or Sowore (on weak platforms), I will beat them . Don't play with what I just said. This is the trick in politics. So Kwankwaso is a bigger name than Peter Obi in Nigerian politics, his performance in 2023 elections not withstanding. The marriage between them wouldn't work because even if they agree to work together, there will always be quarrels. Kwankwaso won't be a loyal vice president to someone he feels he's bigger than. Peter Obi won't be loyal to someone he feels he's become bigger than based on political structure. Whichever way, the opposition in Nigeria is fvvcked... Using Trump's language 😂 Ugoji Maximillian

I have noted all your displeasure over my support for the re-election of Tinubu. You have mostly complained the system isn't working under him. Who should I support for the system to work, Peter Obi or Atiku cuz I know your reasons for complaining is on either of these two?

@Iyoaiye_ He was brought to the national stage by Atiku but decided to betray him halfway without fully impacted and learning national politics and you think there is something he can do on his own to be accepted nationally? The man is only deceiving himself..

If Peter Obi is not suffering from poor cognitive sharpness; a state where one is slow in thinking and quick to forget, then he wouldn’t be overestimating himself to the point of assuming that a northerner, ahead of him in every regard and backed by strong political structures, would simply agree to run as his vice. In 2023, it took what can only be described as extraordinary intervention of the fmr President Olusegun Obasanjo and the political boldness of the late Dr Doyin Okupe, before a northern running mate could even be secured. Even at that, most of the prominent northern figures approached outright rejected the offer. Rabiu Kwankwaso and others reportedly declined, while Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed’s eventual acceptance came only after significant persuasion and behind-the-scenes engagement of Obasanjo. Yet today, it seems Obi believes the realities of 2023 have vanished, as though he can simply pick any northern partner and expect automatic acceptance. This reflects not just political miscalculation, but a recurring failure to properly read the terrain and adjust expectations accordingly. Peter Obi is today the first Nigerian politician from the Igba extraction to be fooled twice, Tunde.

OGUN EAST REJECTS DESPERATION: WHY DAPO’S KANGAROO ENDORSEMENT WILL FAIL AND OGD MUST RETURN TO SENATE. The desperation of Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, Governor of Ogun State in Ogun East Senatorial District has become glaring. He has now organized his appointees and those on his monthly payroll to stage a kangaroo endorsement for himself at Ijebu Ode. The contrast with the Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola “Yayi’s” endorsement last week cannot be missed. At Yayi’s endorsement, all leaders were present, all Former Governors, all serving NASS Members, Ministers from Ogun State, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI), Tunde Lemo, Adekunle Akinlade and all other governorship aspirants. No leader was shut out. That was why the endorsement succeeded and gaining momentum. Now DA’s people want to endorse him while shutting out other aspirants. This is a failed attempt from the start. Dapo is not popular, Dapo is unacceptable, Dapo is inaccessible. You cannot force a rejected leader on the people. One of the major reasons we want OGD back to the Senate for a second term is the Ijebu-Remo State creation. OGD started it, let him finish it. We do not want to start again, no to try and error Leader. We need continuity, not experiments on a matter as sensitive as state creation. And to Dr. Tunde Diya, Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, we are not surprised by his attitude. It is in their blood. His father denied us Ijebu State creation with Ijebu Ode as capital in 1996, before General Sani Abacha disgraced him out of power. It is hereditary. Tunde also wants to follow the step of his father to deny Ijebu Ode as capital of the proposed Ijebu-Remo State. He is on mission, but it is failed already. To Ogun East constituents, be rest assured that OGD is still very much in the race for a second term as Senator. No amount of money or machinery Dapo employed can stop OGD’s second term. OGD has performed excellently well and we are going to vote for him again for a second term. Dapo Abiodun should rest a bit after May 29th, 2027. At least OGD waited for 12 years after his tenure as Governor before contesting to be a Senator. Dapo too should just wait for 4 years then come back if he is popular. Ogun East has decided: OGD for Senate. Let him finish what he started. Mr Adebola Odunsi. Odogbolu, Ogun State.
