As the West re-arms, the Pentagon confirms it is looking into explore building a ‌new ammunition production line in the Philippines - starting with facilities to load, assemble, and package ​30mm cannon rounds, a type of ammunition widely used by military aircraft and ground vehicles. Rear Admiral Rommel Ong (@rjgo87) has been pushing for this for ages. If the Americans and other Western allies do not have the capacity to build ammo, missiles, ships and planes - then allow the Philippines to help fill in the gap. We can grow together with our American defense partners.
