We should be used to earthquakes, by now, but it's always horrible. Last I heard, they counted some 65 victims.

It's just hard to go about everyday things, with the thought of the earthquake constantly in the back of one's mind.

Italy Quake victim count has grown to 150 and counting. Plus 50000 to 60000 evacuees. I feel numb.

In Italy we're not used to move much, families live in the same house for generations. Unless the house is destroyed in an earthquake.

Best friend asked me to be her baby's godmother. Somehow, I didn't expect it to feel like such a big responsibility. Well, it does.
