Great piece, Spencer. Not really surprised by the comments on this one. I am sure none of them have tried spending 5-10 minutes of their time in reading the article he has written. If they bothered to read it, they would realise he also addressed the backlash immigration is getting at this point of time and why it’s justified to a point. Yes. Skilled Immigration at sustainable and planned levels is always going to be needed in a country where free healthcare is so strained. Canadians also need to be encouraged to reproduce more than the amount of people that are dying. If these 2 things aren’t addressed appropriately, all this hate will quickly turn into disappointment when they realise they can’t run the economy the way they are thinking. Rationale over emotions.
