Stopping a young girl from writing JAMB because she wears a hijab is unjust, unconstitutional, and counterproductive. It does not promote discipline or fairness, it promotes exclusion and intolerance. Education is a right, not a privilege granted only to those who conform to a narrow dress code. Let our daughters pursue knowledge without being forced to choose between their faith and their future. I urge JAMB, examination officials, and all stakeholders to prioritize merit over minor attire issues. Nigeria's strength lies in its diversity let us uphold that by allowing every qualified girl, hijab or not, to sit for her exams and build a better nation....

We initially expressed deep concern over the incident involving a young woman who was denied entry to a JAMB CBT centre because she was wearing a hijab. However, after listening to the response from the JAMB Registrar on the matter, we have chosen to set aside our initial anger.
That said, we sincerely hope that such an incident will never occur again anywhere in Nigeria. Freedom of religion is a fundamental human right, and no individual should be subjected to unfair treatment because of their beliefs or practices.
We also trust that the young woman involved will receive a formal apology from those responsible and be given the opportunity to sit for her examination without delay.

My Tinubu has done this to the good people of Arewa. Abuja–Kaduna Highway Nears Completion: 118km Concrete Section Hits 95% with Solar Lighting. The 118km reinforced concrete pavement section of the Abuja–Kaduna road project is now 95% completed and fully equipped with solar street lighting. Built to the same durable standard as the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, this phase of the project is valued at ₦252 billion, with over 80% of the cost already covered under the leadership of President Tinubu. The section is scheduled for full completion by the first week of May 2026. Work is also progressing steadily on the remaining 164km stretch in Kaduna State, which is being constructed using the same reinforced concrete pavement standard. This phase is valued at ₦502 billion, with 70% of the funding already disbursed. The entire Abuja–Kaduna road project is on track for full completion by December 2026, and will feature comprehensive solar lighting throughout. This milestone reflects a strong commitment to delivering durable road infrastructure and improving connectivity across the region.
