@Komaniecki_R This isn't a critique, it's a sneer. There's nothing substantive about the music, just a general disdain for what the writer presumes to be Swift's cultural milieu. It could have been written without listening to a note of any of Swift's songs.

@Komaniecki_R I was talked into playing trombone because I had long arms. Not that I'm complaining, but at least it had to do with size, not gender. (I ended up moving on to double bass, but that was because I wanted a jazz band and couldn't find anyone to fill in.)

When I had to pick an instrument in 4th grade, I thought flutes were so beautiful and cool. Nice sound, shiny. However somebody informed me that flute was a girl’s instrument. Not wanting to compromise my masculinity, I instead chose the most manly instrument (alto saxophone)
