🚨 Arne Slot on Crystal Palace:
“What makes it difficult are the players we face. Guehi, Eze and Olise have left, Olise at Bayern Munich making a good career for himself, but they have a good manager who has created good discipline in that team. Really hard to create chances against them. No matter what games I watch of them you watch 60 minutes and the other team haven't created a chance. At other end they are very direct with good attackers going quite fast. I think they have conceded after Arsenal the least goals and there's a reason for that.”

"A source revealed that the dressing room is in a state of quiet unrest, with a significant number of players unhappy with Arne Slot’s blunt approach in dealing with the team’s senior figures. Undermining established leaders, they believe, does not instill discipline but instead fuels tension.
The manager is increasingly losing the backing of the dressing room, as players interpret his treatment of the club’s top scorer, Mohamed Salah, as a negative signal to the entire squad. This has led to a growing trust deficit, widening by the day. Within the squad, there is a clear sense that players gravitate towards those who protect them in difficult moments, rather than those who use them to assert authority.
The discontent has not been limited to decisions involving Salah, but has also extended to Slot’s communication style. At times, players have taken issue with what they perceive as a condescending tone, particularly in his public explanations and press conference remarks. These have drawn noticeable frustration from senior and influential members of the squad.
Several players have also grown weary of what they see as the manager’s tendency to deflect responsibility in the face of setbacks, while portraying himself publicly as an infallible figure. Meanwhile, the burden of this approach—led by Salah—has been carried by the players themselves.
Should Slot remain in charge next season, there is a growing belief that such dynamics could increase the likelihood of certain players considering moves away in the future"

@the_bonnfire @AwayDaysFB the issue is not him going out to dinner, the issue is him and the team have taken another day off with the derby days away and the team is so unfit already due to the lack of training
English

@AwayDaysFB God forbid a man goes out to eat dinner, must mean he's slacking at his job
English

@JDoeLFC @AnfieldSector They don't train 7 days a week... they were in training yesterday and will be back tomorrow
English

@yakobper90 more worried about the fact the team got another day off 3 days before the derby
English

Not here for these jokes when they're fucking shite at football. Why is this cunt in London as well? How the fuck have these players got another day off when we play Sunday? Is Slot even in the country? One big fucking boys club they all just do whatever they want. Grim.

Dominik Szoboszlai on his story 😂
English

@NeilLfc_5 how are people defending us having another 2 days off in the build up to a derby? we'll have 1 full day of training, and 1 light session and we'll still have to listen to slot making excuses for being outrun every game like them barely training isn't the reason
English

@AnythingLFC_ it's ok, slot has given himself and the players another day off today, i'm sure they'll be refreshed for the derby and not get outrun again
English

@KM_243_ @lfcfan059353513 @TheLfcKop how do you not see the issue with 2 days off in the build up to a derby
English

[🟢] Breaking: "All of our information is that FSG, the ownership, the sporting hierarchy at Liverpool - they intend to stick with Arne Slot.
“From the conversations I've had - even if there's no Champions League football - that's the intention."

🚨 Arne Slot:
“We are a club in transition. A club always has certain cycles with certain players. A lot of them that were so successful for the club have already left or are leaving. Unfortunately that also happens with free transfers, that will happen with Mo, that will happen with Robbo, and that has happened already with Trent… as you know the club that we are we need to recoup our money and to spend again. That is the challenge that we had last season, we had to sell 10-11 players to sign 5-6. That’s going to be another challenge this summer because we do have to replace the ones who are leaving but this club have shown so many times that this model works and with this model we can be successful and I am also proud to work for this club and work our model, it’s a nice way of trying to achieve your own success.”
