Riddle me this, @RoKhanna. If closing USAID could cause so many child deaths in Africa, why would the African Union's top diplomat in DC celebrate USAID's shutdown? Does she like dead babies? Is she ignorant? How else do you explain her arriving at the same conclusion as DOGE?

Not a good use of your taxpayer money
Katie Miller@KatieMiller

Here's what @DOGE found the USAID money was being spent on: • $4.8 million to Ukraine’s public affairs office in Kyiv to fund social media influencers. • $2.1 million to Paraguay to “enhance” their border security. • Ukrainian women-led designers to fly to the Paris Fashion Show. • $2 million on transgender surgeries, hormone therapy, and gender-affirming care in Guatemala. • $3 million to promote “girl-centric climate action” in Brazil. • $25,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia. • $32,000 in Peru for a comic book featuring a “Trans hero” to tackle social and mental health issues. • $20,000 for a DEI-promoting drag theater show in Ecuador. • $20 million for a new Sesame Street show in Iraq. • $6 million to boost “sustainable tourism” in Egypt—plus $50 million for Tunisia’s tourism. • $87.9 million to help Afghans “farm”—which just happened to include poppy fields. • $70,000 for a live musical event promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in Ireland. • Over $54 million funneled to EcoHealth Alliance—the group linked to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the likely origins of COVID. • $15 million to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan for oral contraceptives and condoms.

All DOGE required was contact information of the recipients to confirm that funding was not fraudulent. No validated medical funding was stopped. Anything that appeared to be legitimate lifesaving funding continued and is now administered by the State Department. If anyone had actually died as a result of DOGE, their names would be worldwide headline news! On the other hand, USAID did help fund the Wuhan Virology Institute, which caused the deaths of millions, and the revolution that started the Russia-Ukraine war.
Pirate Wires@PirateWires

Saturday, Silicon Valley Congressman Ro Khanna sat down with left-wing podcaster Jennifer Welch — who previously cheered on those celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk — to discuss the future of “progressive” governance. In a now viral clip, Khanna claimed Elon Musk “possibly sentenced to death” 4.5 million children by dismantling USAID, and demanded he be subpoenaed once Democrats retake power. The number traces back to a Lancet study published last summer projecting 14 million deaths by 2030 from USAID cuts. But the study assumes a fake world: one where DOGE’s cuts stay frozen through 2030, where the State Department’s lifesaving waiver doesn’t exist (it does), where Congress never refunds AIDS relief (it did), where two decades of clinics and supply chains vanish the second a grant lapses. It also conveniently ignores some former USAID functions (like funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology). Meanwhile, NYU statistician Aaron Brown notes the study credits USAID with preventing 11 million more deaths than the entire global mortality decline over two decades. @planetmaxwell interrogates the claim that Elon and DOGE single-handedly killed millions of children, and explains why Silicon Valley’s congressman is now laundering this as settled fact (when it’s really just propaganda). @JoshuaBarzon My family is new to church and we were really surprised to see them show us literally where every single dollar was going. Full transparency. Was remarkably honest and I wouldn’t give to a church who doesn’t do that.

The standard applied by DOGE was very simple and easy: Provide contact information for the recipients of aid, so that we can confirm it is not fraudulent. The reality is that money was being sent to corrupt politicians under the guise of aid! Liars and stock insider traders like Ro the Robber should be in prison!!

In a manner of weeks the USAID death toll has went from like 500k to 1M and now 4.5M. It’s literally another holocaust!

The commies are right, we should take Elons trillion dollars to finally solve hunger in Africa. Oh, wait, $2.6 trillion has already been thrown at Africa in foreign aid since 1960 & people are still hungry. The commies are right, we should take Elons trillion dollars & solve homelessness. Oh, wait, hundreds of billions have already been thrown at homelessness & the homeless population has only grown exponentially. New York alone spent $81K per homeless person per year & the homeless population exploded. Not having enough money is never the problem. The commies who want to manage the money are the problem because they always find a way for that money to land in their own back pockets. Thats the ONLY reason they want Elon’s money- to funnel it right back into their campaigns & pockets. There ain’t a single genuine thought of good deeds behind the “tax the rich” movement.

This AI just exposed the BIGGEST legal insider trading operation in America. A platform called GovGreed built a seven-layer machine learning system that cross-references every stock trade disclosed by every sitting politician against the bills their committees control, the campaign donations they receive, and the companies their votes directly impact. It scored all 540 politicians currently in Congress. And the numbers are crazy: 56% of every stock purchase made by Congress in the last 16 months was on a stock directly affected by a bill the buyer later voted on. That is 6,170 out of 11,016 total purchases. More than HALF of all congressional stock buys are on companies whose fate that same politician is about to decide. 343 of 540 Congress members actively trade stocks while holding access to nonpublic legislative information. That is 63.8% of the entire legislature making market bets with an informational edge that would put any hedge fund manager in prison. The AI identified 752 active "Triple Signals" in the current Congress. A Triple Signal fires when three conditions line up at once: The politician sits on the committee controlling a bill, they traded stock in a company affected by that bill, AND they received campaign contributions from that same industry. Bills carrying these insider indicators pass at 5.4 TIMES the normal rate. Now look at the individual leaderboard: - Nancy Pelosi's estimated portfolio sits at $194 million with a Greediness score of 98.1 out of 100 - Ro Khanna made 13,231 trades across 800+ different tickers - Michael McCaul made 32,302 trades and filed 6,670 of them late - Thomas Suozzi filed 86.4% of his trades late with an average delay of 396 days, meaning his disclosures landed over a YEAR after he made the trade And then there is Lisa McClain, the fourth-ranking Republican in the House. She has made 1,443 trades in three years, more than 98% of all politicians tracked. She violated the STOCK Act twice in a single year, disclosing up to $900,000 in trades months after the legal deadline. Her husband bought up to $250,000 in Elon Musk's xAI, which quietly converted into SpaceX equity before last Friday's $2 trillion IPO. The penalty for all of this? A $200 fine. The number of Congress members ever prosecuted under the STOCK Act since it passed in 2012? Zero. And the cruelest part is this: A bill to ban congressional stock trading was introduced in January 2026. It has bipartisan support. Over 80% of American voters want it passed. But Congress is sitting on it, because the people who would have to vote yes are the same people making millions from the system staying exactly the way it is. They write the insider trading laws, they exempt themselves from enforcement, they trade on the information those laws generate, and when they get caught, they pay a fine that is basically nothing. The AI didn't discover anything Congress was hiding. It just organized what was already public into a pattern so obvious that nobody can pretend it isn't there anymore.

Every dollar Elon Musk has made is traceable. Every product sold, every service rendered, every government contract awarded, every share of stock bought or sold. It’s all on the record. You, on the other hand, haven’t built a company, invented a product, or created anything people willingly pay for. You’ve spent the last 14 years collecting a $174,000 Senate salary. Yet somehow you managed to buy a luxury D.C. condo, a $4 million Victorian mansion in Cambridge, and saw your net worth balloon by 150% to $12 million. Everyone knows where Musk’s money came from. The same can’t be said for yours.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.
