Our first Shelton's Electric Gold Glove of the year goes to Logan Perry Boyle County Baseball. Gold Gloves are kids that make exceptional defensive plays and are consistently great at their position defensively. I’ve watched Mitch Barnhart in action on and off for the past 20+ years. Lately, I’ve been privileged to see him lead up close in my role as a Champions Blue, LLC governor.
He made a tremendous impact on our athletic programs. The man bleeds blue and fostered a culture of competitiveness across the entire department. He also made a tremendous impact in the lives of the athletes, staff, & administrators that he led. I have no doubt he will continue making a lasting impact on students in his new role.
Mitch is one of the best to ever do it, and he leaves the athletic department well-positioned for what promises to be an exciting next chapter. 🔵⚪️
