Tomodachi Life restrictions are hard, and it sucks that we have to deal with them. But there are workarounds. Does that alone make the game worth getting a 7 out of 10? Anyway, it doesn't matter in the end. But I'm still curious about this review and how they allocated points.

OH BOY lmao. Let's take a step back. 1. I am not excusing poor writing but keeping expectations in check because not one, but TWO billion dollar companies' decisions went into making this movie. We are talking about the company that cut an orchestral Island Swing track for Take On Me. Whether you agree or not, mainline Mario games have never taken big swings. 2. I hear your point about it not being a game that has gameplay to fall back on. You are 100% correct that movies only have storytelling to lean on. My point was that, if there was going to be time to establish a story and lore, a game has much more runtime to do so. 3. The art is not lost on me. There are a lot of good animated movies, that cater to the similar demographics, that have amazing stories. I have watched FLOW nearly 50 times and it invokes so much emotion without a single spoken word. 4. Nobody wants a movie that shares the name of my favorite 3D Mario game to be good more than I do. tl;dr I would love a Mario movie with a deeper story but I know Nintendo/Universal is holding back.

@TFG_Football I think most people understand that, 3 guards were taken before Schwesinger and Emmanwori last year. Love, Styles and Downs are just phenomenal players.

The fact that people are totally fine with Runningbacks, Linebackers, and Safeties going in the Top 10, but the second you suggest a Guard in the Top 10, it's heracy. Guard is more valuable than all 3 of those positions by a good margin.

The Giants have the privilege of choosing between Sonny Styles, Caleb Downs, or Mansoor Delane at 1.5 in the 2026 NFL Draft Impossible for them to not earn an A grade in the 1st round
