@BBCSport Which is patently absurd to anyone who’s ever watched the game. So how does a professional referee say there’s no foul there? Bent.

The referee initially awarded England a penalty before reversing his decision and concluding there was no foul committed on Djed Spence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Did you agree?🤔

So let me get this right: We've had Hand of God, Beckham red, Campbell disallowed goal, Lampard in Bloemfontein, Koeman in 94 qualifiers... ... and now you want us to feel bad because a hoof that landed in our half MIGHT have grazed a cable on it's way? Don't think so 😂😂😂

I’m staggered the amount of people who genuinely don’t think Elliot Anderson was fouled by Haaland for Norways disallowed goal. You just can’t go round the pitch pushing people over with 2 hands. He didn’t dive, Haaland is 6ft 5, massive, Elliot off balance, it’s a foul.

Este codazo de Konsa en el cuello de Berge es penalti siguiendo los criterios de antes. Teniendo en cuenta la falta que le pitan a Haaland antes, esto tendría que haber sido penalti.

Are we now saying footballers cannot step in front of an opponent to shield the ball?

How on earth was this controversial? Pickford on the end of a massive collision, ball has been cleared, ref stops the game for injury Doesn’t give a free kick as claimed, Norway received the drop ball, Ajer was booked for dissent for screaming in ref’s face
Rodney@cryptojourneyrs

How do you stop the game for that?! Two English players run into each other. 🇳🇴🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Norwegian player gets a YELLOW?! WILD.

@RupertLowe10 No, mate. When you’ve made your entire life about sewing racial division and spreading hate you don’t get to take a day off from the consequences.

Many need to stop constantly politicising the team. Not everything all the time has to always be about politics. We’re in the World Cup semi-final. Maybe we could just enjoy it without being at each other’s throats for a change.

🚨 Lautaro Martinez was already on a yellow card when he scored the goal. Despite that he crossed the Barrier and went up to the stands to celebrate This is a Yellow Card offence which would've ruled him out against England. So the Ref and VAR decided to forget about the Rule😤

I feel like the World Cup does something to people's brains, they're now claiming Haaland pushing Anderson with both hands was 'never a foul' the most blatant foul of the entire season

Granit Xhaka on Embolo's red card against Argentina: "Do you really want me to explain after what happened to Egypt and Cape Verde? In all my years in football, I've never seen VAR intervene to check for simulation just to give a player a second yellow card. Yet the same VAR didn't intervene when Argentina's players were fouling us throughout the game."

Two Argentinians pulling him down and stopping him challenge for the ball... no VAR check and no Pen. I don't think we are ready for the levels FIFA corruption we are about to witness on Wednesday... 🤯

@BBCSport Yes, of course, and everyone saying no would be raging if it had happened against their team and been allowed. It’s just pure anti-English nonsense.

So, VAR steps in to give Embolo a second yellow because the referee made the wrong decision in the first place to book Paredes? If it was just a foul, not a yellow, it’s not reviewable. Pure insanity. Game’s gone. Less VAR man. For the love of god
