🇨🇮 A women’s rugby problem has hit Ivory Coast One of the athletes that represented the country at the #RAW7s2025 in Kenya, played while she was pregnant - and today, the Ivorian Rugby Federation (FIR) has launched an official investigation into this case Unfortunately they have published her name on social media 😔 Those questioned include the player herself, along with the assistant coach & team doctor. However, the Head Coach, Andrea, didn’t attend the hearing & instead submitted an unsigned letter explaining his absence. The FIR says the matter is being handled with strict attention due to its impact on player welfare and the image of Ivorian rugby. A final decision from the Commission is expected in the coming days. 📌 From our standpoint, we respect the FIR for stepping up & addressing the matter. But this one feels like a loose pass in open play. Yes, transparency matters - but sharing sensitive personal details, especially something as private as a player’s medical condition? It puts the player at the center of public attention before the process is even complete. We believe: • Players should be protected, not exposed • Communication should inform, not unintentionally harm This situation could have been handled with more care, keeping the focus on the process rather than the individual.

Why do Kenyan footballers always lie about their age? Collins Sichenje was a Form Four student at Kakamega High School in 2018. The average age for a Form Four student in Kenya is around 18. According to his current profile, he’s only 22 ,which would mean he sat his KCSE at 14 and KCPE at just 10 years old🤣 Bro should actually be 26 or 27 by now. I was in one of the top football schools the year before, and what I saw teachers manufacturing fake birth certificates ,was crazy. Since then, I no longer enjoy watching high school games because most of those "top talents" aren’t even real students.
