@KometsKoverage From my understanding players must play at least 5 games to be playoff eligible. I do think Richard’s is left off the playoff roster. Sinclair and pabich are on the hot seats both have good at times. I think pooter makes it since he didn’t last year either…

So as we all know playoff rosters will be coming out soon (Once the regular season concludes). That being said I have been mulling over the roster and Im stumped on how this roster is going to look. I think there are guys on the roster who will unfortunately be "burned"

Fishers Event Center in the Indianapolis suburbs. ECHL arena 22/30. As expected… it’s fine. Nice modern building that is like most other newly constructed minor league rinks. Tons of luxury areas. Do appreciate the unique pre-game video display/fire.

@khroniclesks They have been terrible all season last season they lacked but not as bad. Use to be everyday at 5 i kinda got in a routine checking them

Dufour has been everywhere this year, and I’m not being dramatic. Former Sea Dog has played with: Lada Togliatti (KHL) Quebec National (LNAH) Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins (AHL) Fort Wayne Komets (ECHL) Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) Hopefully he finds his game again with GR.

@khroniclesks I think if the oilers send dach down they have to send someone to us. Keppen just needs 5 games to be eligible for playoffs

@khroniclesks If 61 isn’t cut by end of next weekend i don’t know what we’re doing. 25 is getting close too brought him in for some scoring but he lacks defense i see no urgency when it comes to that.

Per ECHL Transactions; the Komets have traded for defenseman Cole Beamin from the Norfolk Admirals. Beamin has 1 assist in his 4 games with Norfolk so far this season.

@KometsKoverage I wish Bakersfield would give updates on injuries and how long they are out. Pretty sure we lost a defenseman for the season before it even started and nothing was reported

I know that Bakersfield really only has two guys sitting out of games right now and Stefan happens to be one (I’m sure they like having 2 backup players in case of injuries.) But we could really use Stefan back to re-ignite our powerplay! Hopefully soon 🤞

At some point in time, the Komets stopped playing New Year’s Eve games like New Year’s Eve games and it became more like Thanksgiving games. This used to be the one night you could count on a certain intensity no matter what. 40 shots. Bunch of hits. Just not there.
