There’s something else I have to admit, and it sits alongside everything I’ve said about failure and change. I’ve been wrong in how I’ve approached what I wanted to achieve with Bitcoin. Not in the sense people will assume. Not in the slogans. Not in the arguments you see thrown around. But in something quieter, and more fundamental. I thought that if something was right, if it worked, if it demonstrated what it was built for—a scalable system, digital cash—then people would move toward it. But people don’t move like that. People don’t choose systems because they are right. They choose them because they are familiar, because they profit, because they fit into what already exists. #BTC exists in that world. People have made money from it. That is what it represents to them. And that is their choice. I don’t have to agree with it for it to be real. What I wanted is something else. Not dominance. Not forcing adoption. Not telling people this is better so you must use it. I wanted to demonstrate what the system was for. That’s it. A functioning, scalable digital cash system. But wanting that does not mean people will want it. Most won’t. Banks won’t. Large companies won’t. The systems that already exist have no reason to replace themselves with something that changes the balance they rely on. A few will see it. A few will use it. But most will stay where they are, because that is what systems do. They preserve themselves. I knew that, intellectually. I did not always act like I understood it. I pushed as though correctness would carry the day. It doesn’t. People carry the day. Incentives carry the day. Habit carries the day. And what I want is only one thing among many. Making money is not the goal for me. For most people, it is. And that difference matters. It means I cannot expect alignment. It means I cannot assume adoption. It means I have to accept that what I am building may not be what most people choose, even if it works exactly as intended. That is not failure of the system. It was a failure of my expectation. And like everything else I’ve said, that sits with me now in a different way. Less anger. More acceptance. And a clearer understanding that demonstrating something is not the same as having it embraced.

It’s funny how people keep thinking BSV is gonna moon when it goes up a few dollars. They are trying to call the bottom and they’ve failed every time. Unless Bsv goes up 100% from where it is now, until then just disregard the noisy price predictions. Even at 100% isn’t 100% gonna keep going up.

The government isn’t here to save you in what the markets are gonna do. It’s like this by design. They could give a damn about what we want or think. They have generational wealth invested in legacy system and how it works it’s in the trillions. No one is gonna change it because of truth. They’re tied to this world by greed.

Not being cynical. Bsv is number one in tech. Believed it from 9 years ago and still do. Just not what the market is hyped about because they are all blinded by money.

I doubt it’s gonna be used for plumbing anytime soon. Following the government papers maybe some banks are using xrp for cross border payments. But even they created a stable coin. Mostly everything else is all being margin traded and borrowed against. All the trading that’s happening is for derivative to borrow and spend while holding long term. Bsv is 100% deep betting on being plumbing. It is the best thing to look forward to but i doubt it’s gonna happen this year. Marketing and promises will make people buy and hold. But without a derivatives market linked to it for borrowers and lenders nothing will happen. Exchanges like coinbase and binance been doing this for ages. Binance coin doesn’t do shit except hold and borrow against. This is why they delisted can’t get any price movement with current raw money circulating. It’s like fighting a coin with infinite borrowing and lending power for its own gain.

BSV is now back in the top 100 on coinmarketcap. At a 300 million dollar mc, bsv is one of the easiest contenders to project 10X gains from current price over the next bull market. Will the moment happen where a major company uses bsv without worry of public perception?

@BSVtony @nuttero0 I’d love to see this happen. Some would agree some wouldn’t. The lower it goes the more we can dollar cost average. I hope the miners and leveraged people can withstand it. Don’t want them wiped out.

@MoonCoinRising @cryptorebel_SV Thats my current understanding. Turn off wifi and Bluetooth, then also enable airplane mode and then proceed with clean new trusted thumb drive and from there you can print paper copy for backup on trusted printer that is also not internet enabled.

Question for anyone - but @cryptorebel_SV feel free to jump in. In regards to either ElectrumSv or ElectrumSVP.. what is the safest way to download/export your private keys? Disconnect from internet, then use a clean/trusted thumb drive? What are the risks in that method?

This is amazing.

Bsv is the real tech behind blockchain and is super important. The world is money hungry. They see a commodity and they think how can I get more. No matter how great Bsv is. People will naturally borrow against it in the future. Whether it’s for emergency reasons or for growing well and accumulating assets. It will happen. And as price goes up in the future it’ll happen even more. With or without BSV leaders agreeing. Bsv is for everyone so they can do anything they want with it besides touching the protocol, but as long as there is a price attached to it they will definitely create a derivatives market tied to it for borrowing and lending. Exchanges will do it to gain interest at zero risk because they control the collateral.

This is why USA is trying to pass the clarity act. They don’t give a as much care for plumbing and what not. They want the derivatives system to keep inflating. @CsTominaga what are your thoughts about this analysis. They have done so much derivatives and borrowing on legacy system that now they see this new market although it is a facade. But the whole fiat derivatives market is a facade. They just want to expand their pockets and buy real world assets while reducing taxes and inflating price to accumulate more assets from price speculation and others inflating it.

Let me explain something. Bsv needs this kind of exchange. I now see that a lot of what we call crypto bros are just speculating and making money. While this accounts for a small fraction. Here is the smart money method. They are in crypto to avoid taxes and capital gains while borrowing against it to purchase real assets for a small fee. Big money that moves the price is borrowing against their coins. They put in $10-20million. You can do this with $30k. Borrow money from the exchange as collateral at 50% or more and go buy real world assets. Their interest is much lower than the bank and there is no term to pay back the principal. So their coins are locked in as margin. They get back fiat and they to invest elsewhere. For example if you’re a miner sitting on Bsv. You could get a collateral as 30%. You have $100k. You can borrow 30-50k against your Bsv. Interest is 5-10% annually. You pay 3-5k a year while you are making moves in real life. When it goes up you can sell some and pay it off. Or borrow more and pay off the old principal. And if you sell. They take the collateral so you don’t pay taxes on the total amount you gained. This is why other coins are skyrocketing over the years. It’s all leveraged. It can be done in a smart way like smart wealthy money or the stupid way and get wiped out.

Market. Flood the network of your movie or product./service months before the release. It’ll add suspense and anticipation. You’ll get support and noise and way more newcomers. Also when you market near release or after release you’ve already wasted valuable time and slowed down initial sales/views. A lot of time wasting. Look how long Terranode has been marketed, and by accident, for years. Look how hyped everyone is. everyone knows about it.

From the outside looking in, some developers even the creators of ‘killing satoshi’ are in the mindset that since bitcoin was hush hush in the beginning, so maybe they also want this method. Like it’s somewhat beneficial they work in the shadows and release things without many people knowing. This is not the time for that. Bitcoin is out of the bag. Terranode has had more marking than this upcoming film with stars in it. If you have something for BSV in the pipelines especially a movie. You need to blow it up months before the release. Build the suspense the anticipation. Not just bsvers discussing it on YouTube and X, because they means no one else except bsvers give a damn. Why would they dump a huge amount of money in and then silently release it on Netflix or else where. It’s gonna pass right by people. Come on guys it’s not rocket science. marketing has to happen weeks before an event. Other events for Bsv had marketing except this. There should be merch sold. Maybe no one knows anything for sure that’s why it’s all just talk as of right now even though it’s suppose to release in 2026. What a shame on how things are run.

My bad. Maybe I’m mixing the date up. I’ve heard dates of Terranode and movie release. It’s all jumbled up in my head. My fault. But yeah that’s a good idea with handcash. Maybe a QR code in the movie to get access to something. Who knows. Instead it’s been hush hush and then talking about masses gonna view it. Prolly no one is gonna give a crap about it and say oh didn’t see marketing means it’s shit. Bitcoin is so big now worldwide marketing this film would be seen by many.

Well done. This is amazing. To be honest and I may be wrong or speaking out of line. Most People follow where the crowds are. People don’t usually like going places that have a few people.
