Wala kasing maipagyabang na support from major media outlets, no recognition from Congress and DOT, no organic support from the OPM industry, and barely any love from casual listeners. Kaya ngayon bangungot na sa inyo ang numbers kasi you know numbers are the only thing you can hold onto. Sold-out shows, charts, stats, that's your entire personality as a fandom. Meanwhile, kami? Hindi kami pinalaki ng WALO na uhaw sa stats. Pinakita nila kung ano yung tunay na grind.. showing up every single day, every stage, no matter how big or small, kahit saan pa 'yan, giving more than 100% para lang mapasaya yung tao. Hindi sila umaasa na mapupuno ang venue. In fact, minsan nagdududa pa yan sila kung may pupunta ba. Pero alam mo kung ano yung mahalaga sa kanila? Kahit 10, kahit 50 lang 'yan basta may mata na nanonood at may tenga na nakikinig sa music nila, masaya na sila, thankful na sila. So yeah, keep clinging to your "sold out" narrative for the rest of your lives if you want. Kasi sa totoo lang, no matter how many achievements your idols unlock… you still don't look satisfied. You're loud, but not fulfilled. You're winning on paper, but still insecure in reality. Nakakaawa diba?
