Vi skal til at fyre mange fastansatte på SCIENCE, fordi der er systemisk underskud. Kurser lukker, viden tabes, fondsmidler kan ikke tages hjem.

Hvis man ville hæve niveauet på uni, skulle man sørge for at alle kunne få en bolig, der rent faktisk kan betales på SU.

@Pdorrestein1 I like that it puts some light on the bad practice of only considering the top hit. N might be more informative to say "there are this many possible candidates".
1/N assumes they are equally likely which seems like a mindset that encourages investigations to end at DB searches.

"ID probability is defined as 1/N, where N is the # of compounds in a reference library or chemical space (CS) that match"
I hold that conceptually N should be the *biologically plausible* CS to be considered in each case.

A long week of our intense course in nutritional metabolomics has come to an end. Our fantastic students did their own pre-processing, statistics and identification of coffee biomarkers. We look forward to seeing the research they will do with their skills in the coming years.
