@midnightpullsjp three weeks of refreshing tracking is its own kind of pain. glad the snow hazard box actually landed, cross-border boxes feel lost until the last scan.

Holy crap, one of my Japanese Pokemon booster boxes ordered off Vinted (a Snow Hazard box) FINALLY showed up at the pickup point. Not sure what went wrong with the Vinted Go shipping as that took almost a full 3 weeks to arrive from Germany, but ok. Pickup in an hour or so!

@mingomings @m_in_go nice that you got them either way. japan usually gets these first, so waiting on abyss eye in your region is the rough part.

@m_in_go I finally got both that i hadnt before, unfortunatly i couldnt get in japanese, but im happy <3, now i just need to wait until pokemon company release Abyss Eye here.

@E_S_Collectible quilava master set is a great focus, that line gets skipped over a lot. the old T promo and Intro Pack Neo one are easy to miss, which ones are you still chasing?

@organic_gg that gold label works weirdly well with greninja. waiting months for the right copy is painful, but that one makes sense.

In pokemon the word “grail” gets thrown around a lot. This is my grail card. Watched eBay for months until it came up for $200. I knew it graded Pristine 10 less than 1% of the time. I wanted the gold color match with the grade. As a Greninja collector this was a huge find. @JapanTCGFinds @CoolGuyPodge you ever see one of these? I think there are 70 total with CGC.

@ausbro80 @Pokemon_cojp stacking mew gets out of hand fast, there are so many versions once you start looking. the older japanese promos are some of my favorite art.

@ausbro80 @Pokemon_cojp Congrats, that PSA 10 Shiny Treasure ex Mew is a strong first step for a Mew run. The SSR texture makes way more sense in hand than in scans. One by one is the right pace too, keeps it fun.

@icey_Starr art rares are a good lane to chase. the backgrounds get wild without always jumping straight into painful prices. watching a few vendor and buyer streams is probably the quickest way to pick up the lingo. hope the hunt treats you right.

I’ll be in DC and California basically for a month’s time very very soon! California, I’ll be attending Anime Expo! And on the hunt for Japanese Pokemon cards! So I’ll be away from my tablet at home ^^

@wee_doll JP singles can feel impossible from over here, but lots of collectors just go card by card instead of trying to finish a whole set at once. if JP art is what he likes, artist chasing is a nice way to keep it sane. Yuka Morii clay cards are a great lane for a kid with taste.

@JapanTCGFinds I'm dreading trying to get my son this, he will be devastated if I cnt. Though he does prefer Japanese art and I cnt see me being able to get that either 🤦‍♀️

Heads up for the English side: Pokemon 30th Celebration drops worldwide on Sept 16, no Japan head start this time. All foil boosters, and every pack has one of 30 Pikachu. After years of Japan getting sets first, a global same-day release is a real shift.
