@ATRightMovies I always wondered how so much of the concept for the Nick Cage/Tim Burton ‘Superman Lives’ movie ended up in ‘Man Of Steel’. The documentary ‘The Death Of Superman Lives’ focuses on the same idea, Superman as an alien. Does that mean Goyer was involved with both versions?

Goyer’s idea was to ground the character and focus on the fact he is an alien and the impact that would have on the world. Nolan liked it and, with his name attached as Executive Producer, Warners greenlit the film almost immediately.

Point of clarification. ‘Spectre’ comes from the film script Kevin McClory & Jack Whitingham wrote with Fleming which Fleming later used as the basis for the novel ‘Thunderball’. It’s inclusion in the novel was the basis for McClory’s successful lawsuit.

Maybe there should be a levy on all corporate & lobbyist donations that goes into a pot that’s made available to Citizens issues that have this kind of support. That way ordinary people can buy their representatives vote in the same way as corporations and lobbyists.
