Genuinely curious, and I like Matthew Golden - he went 23rd overall, you would give him and a 4th for Waddle, wouldn’t you?

Waddle is just 27 and under contract for 3 more years, with the remaining salary at $22.8M per year.
For context, Alec Pierce just got $28.5M per year on the open market. Plus it’s really
a late 1 & late 4 + the Broncos move back 11 spots from their 3rd to early 4th.

@JasonPerone I’m just saying, if he were a free agent he’d get paid a lot more than $22.8M/year. You’re looking at his raw production with bad QB play and lots of other playmakers. His yards per route run, 1st down per route run, yards after catch, etc all suggest he’s very good. We’ll see.

@JasonPerone For more context, the market tells us how the league values players/positions and the point is that Waddle’s contract is a plus, not a minus.

I’ve been on SNL twice now, which sounds impressive until I tell you neither time was as the host. At this point, Harry and Marcello have logged more rehearsal time as me than I have. Both of them were hilarious and absolutely nailed it. Maybe the third time I come in and do it myself.
