In my entire voting life, I’ve never seen a premier attack, defund, diminish, and disrespect public education the way Doug Ford has. Teachers, educational assistants, education workers, nurses, and health care staff have been pushed to the brink for years understaffed, underfunded, and blamed for a system his government has neglected. At the same time, I’ve never seen a premier elevate policing onto such a political pedestal while public education and public health care crumble around us. The message is loud and clear: some public servants are celebrated endlessly, while others professions dominated by women are expected to quietly absorb the cuts, burnout, and disrespect. Ontario deserves a government that values education and health care as much as photo ops and tough-on-crime politics. Doug Ford needs to go.

My idea has been that the team that gets in the playoffs with the worst record gets the No. 1 pick. The 2nd goes to the team with the best record that missed the playoffs. Alternate outward back-and-forth until the last two picks belong to the best and worst reg season records.

I’m so tired of people letting Trump get away with this shit. Whether it’s Joe Kent or Tucker Carlson, people whom he previously loved/befriended/employed/promoted, immediately become enemies and the worst people if they dare disagree with him. He has no concept of disagreement or debate or persuasion. It’s all or nothing. And no reporters ever say ‘but you hired these people? You were friends with these people till 10 seconds ago?
